Scorpius was conflicted. He couldn't stop thinking about Albus and what they'd done and he'd been avoiding Caspar because even thinking about the other boy made him feel guilty. Even if he didn't regret having sex with Albus at all. Or he didn't, but also he kind of did because then he'd had to watch Albus and Kit Smith walking around attached at the hip that morning, looking rumpled, and it was kind of obvious what they'd done together. Maybe because he'd been the first person to make Albus look that way. Maybe because half of Hufflepuff was giggling about Albus spending the night.

Albus was happy with Kit. Caspar was sweet and talented and handsome. It wasn't like Scorpius was settling. He and Albus were friends. Just friends. Albus loved him as a friend. Once the fact that he and Albus had had sex was less prominent in Scorpius's mind, he probably wouldn't feel so heart-sick over the whole thing. So he waited for Caspar's last class of the day to get out, then approached him as he left the classroom. "Hey," he said, giving the other boy a slightly apologetic smile. "I've been terrible since we got back to Hogwarts. Completely missing in action. Want to find someplace to... study?"

Caspar hadn't been sure why Scorpius had been avoiding him. His first fear was that Xavier told Scorpius everything that had happened to just to get him to be with him. But, he knew that Xavier would never fall that low in order to get him as a boyfriend.

When Scorpius finally did approach him, Caspar listened to what he had to say, then grabbed him and kissed him. "Don't you ever ignore me again." He told him and smiled against his lips. "Tell me you missed me." He smiled. "Study?"

Scorpius laughed, relaxing and wrapping his arms around Caspar. "I'm sorry. I missed you," he said. This would be good. They were good together. He and Albus were good together too, but still. He and Caspar could be better.

"Well, I don't know. Study could definitely be a euphemism for something," he said, kissing Caspar again. "I was trying to be stealthy. I know you don't want people knowing we're together."

	Caspar laughed at that and nodded. "We can walk in circles for a while if you want. I had a big breakfast, so it'd probably be in my best interest to walk it all off before lunch." He held onto Scorpius's hand and walked out of the library. "So, Mister Malfoy." He swung their hands together. "What was this I heard about studying being something else?" 	For some reason he couldn't understand, Caspar felt guilty. He chewed at his bottom lip and looked back at Xavier for a moment, then cleared his throat and nodded. He'd just... get through it. "Yeah. I told you about it yesterday when Ana was sitting with you." Caspar tried not to look into Xavier's eyes. He felt like he was cheating on Xavier, which was crazy. 	Caspar looked back at Scorpius and shook his head. He didn't want him to think things like that about him. Like he was a bad person or something. Because he wasn't a bad person. "Scorpius. 	Caspar pulled Scorpius close and held him there, smiling. "It doesn't matter if you're ready or not. It's just sleeping in the same bed. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Do you?"
