I'd say slightly more... polarized, I suppose would be the word? I mean, the general population still trusts metas, and there is a slight increase in the number thereof. Some people aren't as comfortable with the... proliferation of metagenes, as it continues to advance. There are some crazies, but you're always going to have those, the No Capes'es, the Children of Luthor, etc. But for the most part, it's just a slightly more polarized version of today. More wingnuts on both sides. For every Child of Luthor, you got a member of the Church of Superman, or of the Lightning Children, or whatever. Still, normal old Joe American is still just happy that when Starro shows up or some Crisis happens, the JLA will be there.
