Character Q&A
"Hello and welcome back to another installment of Character Q&A. This week we have Nicholas Salem and Wendi Tyler

Nicholas Salem is the latest incarnation of the Ghost Rider and is a member of the Champions.

Wendi Tyler is the daughter of Rick Tyler & Jesse Chambers and a member of the JSA.

Now comes the point where you get to ask either of these fine young heroes questions. Please keep the questions this side of appropriate and remember the person being asked can politely refuse to answer any question."

Nope. Well, unless there's work to do on the shop schedule. If there's more than one job lined up, I'll probably be around for food that night.

I'd like to once again ask both parties for any advice they may have about breaking into the costumed adventuring biz. ...I actually don't know if Ghost Riding is at all relevant to anything most beginners might be doing, but couldn't hurt to know.

Well, unless the idea of having a powerful demon lord hanging onto your soul to make room for an unearthly horror inside of you so you can turn into a flaming-skulled vigilante that rides through the worst elements of society hunting down damned souls to take away any chance they'll ever have at redemption... not that any of the people I hunt would ever take it, or they wouldn't be in that position... is your idea of a good way to break into the business, you don't want my advice.

Really, my own experience aside, the best thing I can suggest is that this business comes with a lot of chances at corruption. Money, power... stay on the light side of the fence, its better for you. That, and keep some good friends around you."

Well, I'm a third generation super-hero (Seriously. It runs--no pun intended--in the family. Three out of four grandparents, and both parents were all super-heroes), so I don't know exactly if I broke in so much as figured out I had super-powers and got just kept up the family tradition.

But I guess my best advice is just to remember no matter how harmless or silly the bad guys seems, treat them like a serious threat. Even if they call themselves a stupid name.

Nick - How about you, me, a dive-bar and a lot of alcohol for Halloween?

Sounds good. I usually hit little biker or trucker bars in the middle of nowhere. Lots of that in Texas. Less chance of anyone giving a damn about Halloween, and the drinks are usually pretty decent.

Wendi: Since you're apparently a fellowtraveller in having to pick what physical capacity to channel your energies, how do you make that decision?

Nicholas: Bourbon or Rye?

Depends on what I'm closer to -

American South, especially Kentucky, got to go with the bourbon. Up north nearer or in Canada, rye. Go with what the region does best.

Well, two things, really. One, it kinda depends on who else is with the team at the time. If Steven's there, well, he's faster than me, so sometimes strength's the better option. On the other hand, if Will and Zan are there, we've probably got most of the strength we need.

Two, well, it kinda depends on the situation. Am I gonna need to fight? Or deal with something quickly? And, well, sometimes... I just wanna hit something.

All good points. Especially just wanting to hit something sometimes.
