Oh. Yeah. That. Y'know, one of Mom's sociology books talked about this study where if something terrible seems to be happening to a person right in front of somebody, she's 30% more likely to be saved if it's in front of just one person than in front of several people. Because if she's in front of several people, everyone just stands there wondering why the other people aren't saving her.
