Party post!
Chelle's birthday party is on Saturday May 17th! That's this coming Saturday, so here's the IC/OOC post for the party.

Everyone was invited! There's plenty of food and beverages. Her parents did not, of course, provide alcohol, but I'm sure there's some around. ;) There's a pool and a hot tub. She's been saving for this forever and her parents chipped in, too. It's her sweet 16, so she wanted it to be extra awesome!

Post your threads in the comments! Label with approximate time and location. The party starts early afternoon - like around 2ish - and will keep going until super-late Saturday night/early Sunday morning!

Melia/Gray - Break Up: Saturday, 10PM

Even as Melia began to mingle with the other partygoers, she couldn't believe what she'd done. She'd never intentionally disobeyed her older brother, after all.

Sneaking out was wrong. Deep down, Melia knew that. She told herself that she had no other choice, though. She told herself that it was worth it… that he was worth it… that she would willing accept whatever punishment she received as long as she got to spend a few minutes alone with her boyfriend.

It didn't take long for her to find her usual group of friends, and once she'd spent a little time talking to them, she went in search of the person that she'd really come to see.

"Hey… have you seen Gray?"

The guy she questioned was barely holding his eyes open, but he pointed in the direction of a closed door. Assuming it was a bathroom or a bedroom that lead to a bathroom, she stepped into the room without knocking. The lighting was lower in the bedroom than it was in the hallway, but it was bright enough that she could clearly see two figures on the bed. It took her a moment to realize that her boyfriend was one of those two figures, when she did, though, she made a strangled gasping noise and rushed back to the bedroom door, tears already in her eyes.

Gray had been drinking and, knowing that his girlfriend wouldn't be at the party, felt like having the fun he couldn't have with her.  Carnal fun.  He loved that she was so innocent, but didn't see why she was still being so adamant about not letting him go further.  He'd told her he loved her, after all.  That should have been the key to unlock all of her denials.

Finding the girl he knew would help him out of his sexually frustrated state, he flirted her up and before long was moving to a bedroom with her.  It didn't take them long to really get going.  Both fully naked, he was so engrossed with what he was doing and feeling that he hadn't heard anyone come in the door.  Then he heard her choked gasp just after he had groaned with pleasure.

It was Melia.  "Shit... Baby."  Pulling out of the girl, he pulled on his boxers and moved to comfort his girlfriend.  "I'm so sorry baby...  It wasn't what it looked like.  I'm sorry.  Talk to me baby."

Putting his hand on the door, he couldn't let her leave yet.  He needed to know that she wasn't going to dump him.  He still wanted to get her cherry after all.  "Let me explain, Melia.  I'm so sorry."

Melia had rushed to the door with the intention of leaving the bedroom… with the intention of leaving the party. She didn't quite make it that far, though. The door was stuck or jammed or something, and before she could open the door, his hand was pressed firmly against the wood.

"How… how can you explain?" she questioned in outrage as tears rolled down her cheeks. "How can you… ex.. explain, Gray? How?"

There wasn't a lot of space between them, but she shrunk away from him. She didn't want him to touch her. She didn't want him to… anything. She hated him. How could he… she'd done things for him that she hadn't been ready to do. How could he just… have sex with some… some… skank?

Gray tried to stroke his finger across her cheek as he wiped at her tears.  He hadn't wanted to see her cry.  Then again, he hadn't wanted her to catch him having sex with another girl.  He bit at his lip to show her that he was upset by this, even if he wasn't really.

"I was drunk...  I got caught up in the feelings rather than who they were with.  I'm so sorry.  It'll never happen again, baby.  I won't drink again.  Please forgive me, baby.  I love you.  You know that.  I wouldn't do anything to intentionally hurt you."

She turned away from him when he reached out to wipe the tears that were on her cheeks. The thought of him touching her after what he'd been doing made her stomach churn in disgust.

"Don't touch me," she commanded firmly but quietly. "You are never touching me again."

Her head began to shake when he tried to explain his actions. She didn't believe him. She didn't believe that he was sorry for what he'd done. She didn't believe that it would never happen again. Her mother had cheated on her father, after all. She'd destroyed their family. She didn't want to be with someone like that.

"You should… you should just go get caught up in those feelings again. I'm… I'm going home. I shouldn't have snuck out in the first place… not for you."

Her eyes narrowed when he told her that he loved her… that she knew he loved her.

"I thought I knew that," she responded coldly. "I was wrong. You love anyone that will give you what you want… what I wouldn't give you."

Pulling his hand away from her, Gray frowned further.  This was going to be harder to get out of then he thought.  "Baby... I only want to get caught up in them with you.  You're all I want."

Her cold words only served to piss him off. How dare she not believe him when he said he loved her?  Maybe on some level he did, but he didn't know that.  He had just said it to get into her pants, but she didn't need to know that either.

"You think I just said that?  You really think that?  You think I just go around saying that to anyone?  Sorry to break it to you, sweetheart.  Guys don't just say they love someone if they don't really mean it.  No guy drops the L-word that easily."

As far as Melia was concerned, there was no way for him to get out of the trouble that he was in. He had cheated on her. She wasn't going to be with a cheater.

"Actions speak louder than words," she spat, when it became obvious that he was angry with her. "If you really loved me, you wouldn't have been doing that." She gestured at the other girl when she spoke the last word.

Her eyes were still filled with tears, but she tried to drawn strength from the seed of anger that was sitting in the pit of her stomach. If she could focus on that feeling, she could get through this without completely falling apart. She loved him, after all. She hadn't just said it. She'd meant it.

If she was going to be angry, then so was he.  "Exactly Melia.  You said you loved me.  If you really loved me you would have been the one doing that with me.  I wouldn't have needed to find someone else."

Stepping back, he crossed his arms over his chest.  It was obvious that they were over, so might as well make her feel worse.  "You think it was easy going home with an erection that wouldn't go away?  You think I liked having blue balls and having to take cold showers to cure it?  No.  It wasn't.  She wasn't the first girl I cheated on you with.  I needed someone to help me out when my girlfriend, the girl who supposedly loved me, wouldn't."

Her mouth opened and closed several times as she searched for a reply. Before she could find one, though, he'd taken a step back and crossed his arms over his chest. Her eyes filled with tears as he tore at her with his words, and when he finally fell silent, she shook her head in protest. It hadn't been… she had…

"I… I did things for you, Gray," she finally answered. "I… you know I did. I didn't do that, but I did other things. It wasn't like I was selfish. It wasn't like I didn't give you any… relief."

She felt like an idiot for trusting him… for believing that he loved her. That was why she'd done the things that she'd done, after all. She hadn't been ready to do those things, but she'd wanted desperately to make him happy because he loved her.

He didn't like girls crying, but what was done was done.

Shaking his head, Gray laughed.  "You think a hand job here and there is much relief?  It only causes chaffing.  You should probably just go, Melia.  Before you get yourself hurt any worse."

It was bad enough that he'd cheated on her. To add insult to injury, though, he was laughing at her. She stared at him as he told her that what she had done for him hadn't been enough. She didn't know what to say, and the only thing that had come to mind was…

"You asshole," she breathed. "You fucking asshole."

Rather than moving out of the room, she closed the distance between them and slapped him as hard as she could across the face. Later, she wasn't going to be able to explain what had come over her in this moment, but that didn't seem to matter as she began to make her way out of the bedroom.

Her heart was breaking, but she told herself that he didn't deserve her. Deep down, though, she wondered if she should've just had sex with him… if he would love her if she'd had sex with him.
