My roommate and I did this from start to finish in two hours just after our last final to unwind. Its a little radio play where Agatha sends Link to the Eyeshield 21 world for a few minutes. It's not clear but he tackles Shin in the middle of it.

| Christmas Event....kinda. |

There's 15 days left till Christmas! And that means it's time for holiday cheer to start~~!
Starting Now till Dec.26th the town is now filled with
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!
Which means there is now A giant Christmas tree in the middle of the First District and an iceskating rink in front of it. There's enough room for this. Seriously. The town is also filled head to toe with decorations including Christmas lights, mistletoe, and wreaths~ and there will be some evergreen coniferous trees in the field for anyone to claim, bring home, and decorate if they want~
Now is also the time for lots of snow and cold-cold cold! We're talking full feet of snow! Maybe a snow storm, pretty icicles, a snowman that won't melt for weeks. Break out the hot chocolate guys 'cause baby its cold out there.

Now that it's a week into December-- outside of that football thingy thing we need another event.
One for Christmas! ...yeah I'm not being correct here. HANNUKA/KAWANZA/FESTIVUS can get all summed up into our Christmas event. And since that Thanksgiving one turned out to be a complete failure we need to make it a good one! A long one that'll keep us busy during the break when we're not drooling over our brand new video games or getting dragged around for 'family holiday time'~
MAKE SUGGESTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS EVENTS IN A COMMENT HERE! ..Oh and something for New Years too. WE'RE GUNNA NEED A BIG BANG FOR THAT ONE.
Ideas:

MOD POST
Oh man, I get to make a mod post. How stoked am I? Very. That's how. Today I'm going to school you guys on warnings!
When you make an rp post, the warnings slot is used for questionable content. Things like sex, violence, and shit.
Acceptable things that fall into this category are:
Sexual stuff
Violent stuff
Gory stuff
Character related warnings (An example of this is Neku's recent post warning.)
Things that don't fall into warnings:
Swearing
Sugary fluffy stuff - If you're going to fluff and you think it needs a warning, then be direct with what it is, for example kissing, touching, ect. Not just 'omg kaiwaii cutesy fluff desu!~"
Post summary - the warnings is NOT a place to make a summary of your post.
I'm thinking this clears up any confusion. Any questions, comments, complaints, drop them here and I'll see what I can do about answering them. |

Heya.
I remarked earlier that I would prefer to leave the teams for the event up to the players, but its been a few weeks and I just managed to get the first full team formed today.
Ee....
Now I have seen some partial teams being formed, so I thought I would post those and remind everyone else in participating that if you don't make a team by December 9th, I'll be using a randomizer and putting you on a team it picks.

| Radio Play: Metal Bits |

EDIT: This is a side thing. This is not replacing threads. It is for fun and on the side. And I got confused with what Vi and I talked about, so I took that bit about the voting out.
I know while Scribbld was down I told people about this on Instant Messenger, but I thought I'd make an official post too to tell those who don't appear on IM and whatnot.
Earlier, I wrote, directed, and edited a Girl Genius style radio play that I called 'Metal Bits'. Here is a link to the download. And here is a link to the script I gave everyone, but if you listen carefully there was a good deal of ad-liping by the end. The play has three parts and is just shy of 21 minutes long in total length.
I know I did a verbal disclaimer at the beginning, but I thought I would remind everyone here that this is a complete unprofessional production. None of us are real actors, so don't think this is going to be extremely nice quality anything.
Here, if you are curious, is a cast list (in order by appearance):
Narrator - 'Liztor' (hopefully Riddick-mun)
Agatha Heterodyne - Shay (Agatha-mun)
The Doctor - Melissa (Doctor-mun)
Sena Kobayakawa - Amy (Sena-mun)
Haruhi Fujioka - 'Liztor'
Person (or Heartless) - 'Claire' (not involved with the RP)
Shadow Link - 'Liztor'
Sound effects - 'Claire'
Also, its not mentioned verbally, but Sena-mun (who was playing Sena) was not there in person. She had her voice beamed live-time over the internet via voice chat. In hindsight I observed that I should have moved the microphone closer to the computer speakers so that she wouldn't have had to have her voice amplified and be competing with paper shifting noises. Either way, her voice being so crappy comes from the fact it came out of a computer speaker and was too far from the microphone.
Don't worry, I have developed several solutions for this so that I can do distance voices more successfully in the future.

Also remember though I can't always just do it because you want me to. Light isn't into hurting people for his own shits and giggles. There would have to be probable in character cause on my end too. |

| Hurt Note OOC Question |

I have a bit of a question for the four lovely mods here. I wanted to get permission from you all for this but fail to find you all around at once so I figured I would ask it here.
Now I enjoy playing Light but I've run into one fatal flaw in this. Without a notebook for this pussy to hide behind he will generally have to behave as a normal guy. It also leaves his with a lack of motivation or goals and eliminates his conflict between the detectives present because he hasn't really done anything wrong here.
I know I can't kill anyone because that's just no fun. What I'm asking is would it be possible for in this particular universe could I work the Death Note as sort of a Hurt Note? Like for example:
Misa Amane November 24th 8:00 am pulls in a chair from the kitchen to reach a plate on the top shelf falls off chair. 8:01 falls off chair and hits head on counter rendering her unconscious.
Of course if this request is granted I wouldn't use it without the other persons express permission and a probable cause. I was just hoping for something to give Light a kick start. Seeing as while a bit of a villain he is at the core a cowardly little one. |

Okay people~ Just to let you know that next week is Thanksgiving! You were all thinking of Christmas already weren't you?
Anyway! For Thanksgiving we're having a FEAST EVENT~ Yuuup.
Starting Wednesday the 25th and ending on Sunday the 29th there will be a Thanksgiving dinner taking place in the Crossroads fields. The grass will be cut for the time being and a nice long-ass table filled with all your favorite foods will be on it. There will also be a fire going on and Native American-esque tents and such around. You have the option of having your character shoved in a Pilgrim or Indian outfit if that suits your fancy (Zack wearing a feather and loin cloth anyone~~?) but otherwise wear whatever you want, bring all your friends and family, give thanks and have fun~ It is a holiday! ! ....A American one and more than half of the characters are not but whatever we are so we'll celebrate.

I'd like to start having games as early as Dec 11th. I know that 3 weeks from this Friday but-!
If you've got characters participating, could you please post their approximate strength and speed? I need the team information by Dec 7th along with available two hour time slots you think you'll have between Dec 11th and Jan 3rd. This is so I can announce when the games are on the 11th.
As for the teams, I don't mind if these are decided oocly, or ICly. Whichever works for you.
If you don't mange to get your character on a team by then, I'll put you on one. I don't really want to be making the teams, since it'd be more fun if people could make the teams amongst themselves. There should be a total of 7 teams.
Again, here's the master list of people playing. And here's the rules and team application place. Finally, here's where we've been discussing the event and posting character stats.
