Halloween Party (for Saturday!)! Everyone!
Halloween was her favorite day of the year, outside of her birthday. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day! It was still pretty up there, considering that there were 365 days in the bloody year! Liz couldn't handle the excitement, whether it be from dressing Katie up in adorable little outfits (plural, because she simply could not pick one obnoxiously cute costume for her daughter) or doing her hair or making Ian dress up and the candy!

Ohhhh, the candy.

It was probably not a good idea to be on a full blown sugar rush when you left for a big party like this, but her fans (she had FANS!) were used to her rapid paced talk! So this should be the norm for everyone, because Liz Bell was a show stopper! The red carpet was sooo much fun, and the Bells were just sofreakinggoodlooking so why would the cameras not flash at them and sigh.

Halloween was the best ever.

"How are my buns?" she asked without looking up, unsure if she had wandered away from her husband or not. There were so many pretty costumes and lights and shiny things...it really wasn't her fault if she'd gotten lost in the crowd.

Franzy just blinked at Stubby. It took her a moment to process everything he was saying. Because despite the yelling and gesturing he was clearly saying something that she wasn't expecting.

No, she really didn't listen to his songs after he left. She was hurting. Listening to those songs were the last thing she wanted to do.

She opened her mouth only to close it again. He still cared, practically admitted that he still loved her. What could she say to that. So she went with her gut instinct and threw her drink his face. Two years. Why couldn't he have said all that Two years ago. Or even just a year ago. Before all this mess with Darwin and Bertram.

"You are so stupid. You really should of said something a long time ago." she said leaning in, because she was so, so tempted to kiss him. Because if she was truly honest with herself, she had been waiting to hear that for ages.

She was barely an inch from kissing him when she stopped. This was all to easy. To easy for him to get back to her. Too easy for her to make a fool of herself again if she was wrong. She had to remember to stop making impulse decisions. She had no idea how she was feeling. She needed space. She gave him a quick kiss on the lips before promptly turning on her heel and walking away.

Space she needed space. And another drink.

He sputtered and wiped the drink out of his eyes - there was NO way he was going to let her do that to him he had something biting on the tip of his tongue when she leaned in close to him. So close he nearly stopped breathing, and just stood there as he watched her, get so close to him. She did look like she was going to kiss him and really in that moment he couldn't think of anything he wanted to say except to ask her to kiss him.

Stubby hardly heard what she had to say until she was walking away. He put his hands on his lips and watched her walk away, the camera and flash going off on accident that caused him to jump and start to walk after her, "I did! I DID," he shouted, but was waylaid by some overly helpful waiters - did they not know this was a MOMENT and they were interrupting it - but by the time he was freed of their help he was unable to find her. Looking down and forlorn, Stubby fingered the shutter button as he looked into the lens of the camera. "I did say something, it was the songs..." he mumbled to himself.
