Halloween Party (for Saturday!)! Everyone!
Halloween was her favorite day of the year, outside of her birthday. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day! It was still pretty up there, considering that there were 365 days in the bloody year! Liz couldn't handle the excitement, whether it be from dressing Katie up in adorable little outfits (plural, because she simply could not pick one obnoxiously cute costume for her daughter) or doing her hair or making Ian dress up and the candy!

Ohhhh, the candy.

It was probably not a good idea to be on a full blown sugar rush when you left for a big party like this, but her fans (she had FANS!) were used to her rapid paced talk! So this should be the norm for everyone, because Liz Bell was a show stopper! The red carpet was sooo much fun, and the Bells were just sofreakinggoodlooking so why would the cameras not flash at them and sigh.

Halloween was the best ever.

"How are my buns?" she asked without looking up, unsure if she had wandered away from her husband or not. There were so many pretty costumes and lights and shiny things...it really wasn't her fault if she'd gotten lost in the crowd.

Lydia couldn't help the smirk that slid over her lips. Well, she liked to keep her options open too - only partially because it seemed she was completely unable to keep a relationship for more than a few months. John might've been the exception, but then he'd gone and gotten married.

"Lydia Proudfoot. Entirely pleased to view your bone." She smirked a bit more widely and then nodded toward the bar. "After a nice drink to get me warmed up, of course."

"Of course. What kind of gentleman would I be if didn't buy you a drink. Sometimes I even offer dinner." Chester said as he guided her over to the bar. The bartender was busy flirting with some bimbo when the approached and attempted to ignore them to continue.

Chester cleared his throat and sent the man a pointed look. Service at these things were always awful.

"So Lydia, do I need to worry about an angry date coming after me for stealing you away?"

Okay, so she was a slag ... but she wasn't a complete slag, not really. She wouldn't bring a date to this thing and come over to flirt with Chester unless her date had done something really awful.

Probably.

She managed a wider grin and waved her hand in the air non-chalantly. "I had heard it was more fashionable these days to show up ... what is it they say, 'stag'."
