Halloween Party (for Saturday!)! Everyone!
Halloween was her favorite day of the year, outside of her birthday. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day! It was still pretty up there, considering that there were 365 days in the bloody year! Liz couldn't handle the excitement, whether it be from dressing Katie up in adorable little outfits (plural, because she simply could not pick one obnoxiously cute costume for her daughter) or doing her hair or making Ian dress up and the candy!

Ohhhh, the candy.

It was probably not a good idea to be on a full blown sugar rush when you left for a big party like this, but her fans (she had FANS!) were used to her rapid paced talk! So this should be the norm for everyone, because Liz Bell was a show stopper! The red carpet was sooo much fun, and the Bells were just sofreakinggoodlooking so why would the cameras not flash at them and sigh.

Halloween was the best ever.

"How are my buns?" she asked without looking up, unsure if she had wandered away from her husband or not. There were so many pretty costumes and lights and shiny things...it really wasn't her fault if she'd gotten lost in the crowd.

Patrick, on the other hand, was hoping to get the hell out of here and find a rather cozy corner of the museum to snog Lyssandra. They'd flirted a bit through the journals, and he did think she was a bloody fox, but actually spending some time with her and, Merlin help him, enjoying her personality, had things were looking up.

Thoughts of becoming more than what they were right now were squashed by his innate, paralyzing fear of relationships, but he didn't think she'd mind that too much. Not yet, anyway, and when she did, that would be the time to cool things down.

He ignored the voice in the back of his head that was yelling at him in the distinct tone his mother often scolded him with. Maybe they should just keep dancing for now. Though, he did pull her a bit closer, unable to keep his sneaky smile off his face.

"Don't play like I didn't see that coming," Lyssandra teased with a shake of her head, resting one hand on his shoulder and the other down on his hip. Yes, this was nice - no having to think about responsibilities for at least as long as the dance went on as long as Patrick's hands didn't wander too badly.

She certainly didn't want him to think she was some sort of tart (okay, so she'd spent a lot of her life being that sort of tart, but still...) who did everything on the first official date. Besides, she still didn't know if his 'brain-thing' was fixed. She didn't want to send him into some sort of aneurysm during sex.
