Halloween Party (for Saturday!)! Everyone!
Halloween was her favorite day of the year, outside of her birthday. And Christmas. And Valentine's Day! It was still pretty up there, considering that there were 365 days in the bloody year! Liz couldn't handle the excitement, whether it be from dressing Katie up in adorable little outfits (plural, because she simply could not pick one obnoxiously cute costume for her daughter) or doing her hair or making Ian dress up and the candy!

Ohhhh, the candy.

It was probably not a good idea to be on a full blown sugar rush when you left for a big party like this, but her fans (she had FANS!) were used to her rapid paced talk! So this should be the norm for everyone, because Liz Bell was a show stopper! The red carpet was sooo much fun, and the Bells were just sofreakinggoodlooking so why would the cameras not flash at them and sigh.

Halloween was the best ever.

"How are my buns?" she asked without looking up, unsure if she had wandered away from her husband or not. There were so many pretty costumes and lights and shiny things...it really wasn't her fault if she'd gotten lost in the crowd.

Jen had just gotten off of trick-or-treating duty. Deciding to come here had been a big step for her. She didn't see the point of social functions much anymore but this one at least seemed like it could be fun. The mask she had picked out was over her eyes. The gold glittered at the edge of her blue eyes as she looked around. Jen hadn't been to a costume ball in ages. She had gone against the idea of a full costume. This was last minute and she had no time to go a shop and find a costume. She put on a skimpy black dress that barely skimmed her thighs and black stilettos with silver embellishments.

Jen was after anonymity tonight. A costume ball was the perfect place for that. She looked around once and with a clack across the floor she made her way towards the punch bowl. Tonight was going to be fun even if she had to force it. The ladle was dipped in and a glass was made and she looked at all the men across the room. Jen's brow furrowed underneath her mask as she took a sip. This was going to be a long night.

Theo really didn't even know why he bothered with such things as charity balls. Or anything that involved dressing up in a costume. But he received a ticket through work so she felt that he was obligated to go. He just didn't dress up. He picked up some simple black eye mask and there, he was done.

He was meandering through the crown when he spotted her across the room. She wasn't wearing a costume either. Theo smirked as he made he way over. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so awful after all.

"What's a lovely lady like yourself doing all by yourself? You date shouldn't leave you alone, someone might be tempted to steal you away."

Jen looked towards the voice and smiled back. "Perhaps if I had a date than he may think that." Tonight was already perking up. She tucked a stray hair behind her ear. "At the moment though as it stands I have no date. Just attempting to enjoy myself on this Halloween night." She looked up at Theo and took his looks in the best she could. The mask hid some of the aspects. All together he was good looking.

"I could say the same thing to you though. Your date maybe wondering where you are with punch." She grinned. "I may be tempted to snatch you away as well." A sip of her punch was taken. Flirtations, these were so old yet so new. She exhaled after she finished her drink. This was going to be fun.

"Well you being dateless is completely unacceptable. And since I'm also currently dateless, I'll gladly offer to fix this situation." Theo said with his best smile. It had been a while since he flirted with anyone, let alone gone on a date. Between work and the kid and his other 'job', he hardly had time for anything else.

Theo scrunched up his nose as his mask started to slip. Damn the cheap itchy thing. The whole concept was stupid. He took it off figuring he wore it long enough. "Theo Nott, at your service."

She offered her hand with a smile, "Jen Gibbon, here to please." Her own mask slid off her face with her free hand. Blue eyes sparkled in the candle light. The hair she had hust tucked behind her ear going loose. Her cheek bones were high and her smile was pretty. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

A slight blush was creeping in her cheeks from the heat of the party. Too many people in so little space. "It's warm in here." She wiggled around a little bit. Flashes of skin appearing and disappearing. She should've opted for the strapped dress instead of the strapless. "So what brings you here Mr. Nott?"
