POSTED FOR SATURDAY~ Sinners & Saints Ghost Train!

As the country side rushed by outside the window, Dianna could feel her pride grow with each passing second. She wasn't one to admit that she bragged about her achievements, but it would be a lie to think that she was not going to be boasting at how overwhelmingly amazing this event had turned out to be. The turn out had been far more than anticipated, the musicians that varied through every other cart were fantastic and livening up the mood---there were even ghosts of old conductors and passengers floating through the carts and having the time of their after-lives scaring the guests.

It was to be a fun, fantastic, frightful night. Dianna was beside herself with excitement, and she tugged her skirt down a bit and went on a search for a friendly face to interact with. Merlin, she'd really out done herself this time, she thought amusing as a cart-wide sized cobweb magically unspun to let her pass.

Dianna flipped a golden curl over her shoulder, smirking greatly. She was so brilliant.

GRACIELA!!

Edward smoothed his front, quite pleased with his costume choice this year. It was one of his more exciting ones; a golfer. Admittedly he did not think most people on the train would know who or what he was, but it was tradition, dressing up in different muggles outfits for halloween, so he could continue it regardless of where the holiday was spent.

Last year he had been a mailman, and the year before that he had been a construction worker... and the year before that he had been a doctor. It was an endless supply of ideas, in his opinion, not to mention an excellent opportunity for learning! Which immediately made it the best, because his outfit choices were of the knowledgeable kind.

He turned, shifting his golf bag (full with authentic golf clubs!) slightly on his shoulder. There were two goals that had to be met tonight: the first was to find his beautiful girlfriend, as they had decided to surprise each other with their costumes and arrive separately. Edward had still not found Graciela yet, and he was becoming anxious to become reunited because he did not want to board the train without her.

The second goal was entirely different, and most definitely less fruitless. Derek Dobbs was definitely not properly dressed up enough for this event, which was why he, Giada, and Rachel had taken it upon themselves to bring along hidden appropriate accessories for their friend to don. It was more of an ongoing mission meant to be accomplished thorough the night, and would most likely get them in more trouble than it was worth, but worth it nonetheless. But if he couldn't locate Graciela... Edward sighed. She must be very dressed up and therefore well-hidden.

She was going to kill her sister.

Graciela had never been one for elaborate costumes on Halloween, but she had always admired the parades that followed on the dia de los muertos. They symbolized celebrating those who had passed, it gave her hope that the spirits of loved ones lost still resonated in this mortal realm. It was beautiful to her and that was why she had agreed to the idea her sister Andrea had suggested.

Her costume was amazing. Andrea had done a beautiful job on her makeup, and Psyke had put together the dress which was...it was much more form fitting than Graciela was used to, and so bright and colorful. It was a true costume, and she had already received so many compliments on it. She could not wait for Edward to see her!

Except---he had walked right by her, just now. Graciela pursed her lips, for a moment just thinking that her makeup was too good. It took her a moment to actually look at Edward and to see that---he was wearing shorts. And--high socks with----oh, he was a golfer.

She would look ridiculous beside a golfer!

But she could not leave! That would be horrible, she could not let Edward wander and look for her, but now she felt like a fool. Conjuring some nerve even though it was not nearly enough to deal with the rest of the night, Graciela reached out and tugged on Edward's sleeve.

"---Graciela?" Edward hesitated before he spoke, wanting to assume that only his girlfriend would pull on him like that, but unable to fully confirm that it was her just yet. His eyes widened once he saw her face within the makeup.

"Graciela!" he exclaimed, raising his hands a bit in surprise. Edward had thought she would be something like.... he would have never guessed this! He wasn't even sure what this was, but it was unbelievable! Loud, but in a good way. Graciela was usually quiet, so for her to dress up like this was... it excited, overwhelmed, and struck him. And proud, he was quite proud, though not really sure why, but he was.

"You look... amazing!" He leaned forward to kiss her, but stopped; it would mess up her makeup, wouldn't it? Would she not care? He was unsure... it looked so perfect Edward did not was to risk ruining it. "I didn't even recognize you," he rushed, now feeling extra energy coursing through him. This was exciting.

"What---" Edward started, taking her hands into his. "What are--- what is this?" he asked, momentarily unable to not look at her body with a stupid grin on his face. The flowers, and the dress--- he shook his head and looked back up at her face smiling brightly.

She was still holding her breath and it took another squeeze of her hands to snap Graciela out of it. She blinked a few times and then smiled widely. "I--I do?"

Relief swept over her. Edward did not seem to be feigning excitement, she could see in the crinkle of his eyes that his smile was real and that he seemed impressed. Impressed! They would be together for a thousand years and her heart would still flutter at the idea of Edward being excited because of her. Graciela felt herself heat up as he looked her over, and her confidence level grew. She reminded herself of how good she'd felt in the mirror after her makeup and costume were complete, and she grinned a bit mischievously.

"I am a calaca," she begin to explain, playing with their intertwined fingers. For some reason, it pleased her that Edward did not know what she was supposed to be. It meant that she could be a bit mysterious and weave the tale of her costume throughout the night. They did not surprise each other very often, and Graciela felt her heart begin to race, "I represent the souls that are happy in their afterlife, that comes to celebrate during the days of the dead."

Graciela tried to smile as wickedly as she could. She let go of his hand for a moment to tug on his sweater vest. "You are the cutest golfer I have ever seen."

He laughed, as she seemed genuinely relieved by his approval of her costume. Graciela most certainly did not need his approval to do anything she wished, but if she so desired, Edward would be eternally happy to be behind the reason of her bright eyes and happy smile. She was so astounding, he couldn't even begin to express it to her without using words that were too serious for this setting.

"Yes!" he rushed, now moving closer to her. As he moved, he hitched his bag slightly, resting it further on his back.

Edward regarded Graciela politely as she explained her outfit, finding himself very involved and interested. He would be the first to admit that he knew little about Graciela's Portuguese culture and heritage, so anything, even small things like this or big things like visiting her family, he enjoyed. And not just because it was a learning experience, but because it made him feel closer to her, like with every new piece he was understanding more and more about her. And even though they had been dating for a while now, Edward enjoyed that their relationship still had that.

"I like it," he nodded once she finished, releasing his hand from hers to reach up and touch one of the flowers on her shoulder.

"Really?" Edward's face significantly brightened at her mention of his costume. She knew. "You must not have met many golfers in your day," he joked, a smile still firmly present on his lips.
