Party Thread, get those bingo boxes!

By the time the party was in full swing, there may have been a bit more than 'just the important' people milling about Thomas' backyard. Kendall was also just drunk enough to not care about the wrath that he was potentially incurring from his best friend. It had started out small enough, when he was still sober and cooking food. He had been grinning all afternoon and now that the sun was setting, even more people were showing up. There was a quidditch game going on, people swimming, dancing. He couldn't think of a better way to be spending his birthday.

Pulling himself out of the lake, he grabbed his towel to dry of his face as he made his way over to get another drink. He scanned the crowd quite pleased with himself, he couldn't remember ever throwing a party that quite like this. And last minute as well. His had a great team, great friends, a great thing going on with Anya. He couldn't remember the last time he was this happy.

Taking a drag of his drink, Kendall settled himself on the grass laying back to stare at the colors that were starting to paint the sky. He was looking forward to Charlie's fireworks, the phrase 'whatever you want, have fun' probably shouldn't have been used, but it was guaranteed to have spectacular results. It didn't take long before a there was shadow cast over him. "Oh hey, fancy seeing you here," he grinned as he tilted his head back to see who had joined him. Propping himself up on his elbows he nodded to empty stretch of grass next to him. "Enjoying the party?"

(ooc: Open to pretty much everyone? Lol if you can connect your character to Kendall by 3 people then its legit. Kendall's tag is up for grabs. :* Have fun get, dem posts.)

Nora winced. This was slightly confusing. They had the sex even after Delilah dropped the love bomb, but her friend seemed worried. Had the sex been bad and now she was regretting it? Nora was having a hard time imagining the two having a poor time at it, but who knows. Awkward first time jitters may have gotten in the way.

"And yet, you still did the deed. Still slayed the dragon. Finally popped this relationship's cherry. That's a good thing, yeah? Did he freak out? He still managed to---I mean, he did right? You did, yeah? Was it terrible?"

She put her hand up, shaking her head. That one beer had gotten to her far too quickly, perhaps Broadmoor had decided his guests needed a little pushing to have more fun tonight. Or perhaps it was the unicrons she'd helped through labor last night.

"Sorry, I was out all night with Hagrid up in the Forbidden Forest, he's been helping a pregnant unicorn and she went missing a few days ago. We found her nearly in that muggle town on the west end. Cute little foal, though, perfectly---you guys used protection, right?" Nora's eyes bugged out for a moment; pregnant unicorns she could handle, but a pregnant Delilah Before she could blow things extremely out of proportion, she shook the image out of her head.

"Right! Sorry, not important, well, it's important, but---did he say it back?"

There were too many questions all at once, and Delilah wasn't sure which one she should answer first. She blinked rapidly as Nora mentioned unicorn babies and protection and merlin everything happened so fast she had to actually stop and think to remember that yes she had in fact been on top of that important detail.

"Yes, we did. It was--" Delilah didn't know what to say. There was a moment, where she was certain that she had freaked Matt out. That she had said the completely wrong thing at the wrong time but then he was kissing her and she almost forgot her own name. So maybe it hadn't been the wrong thing to say? "Great. I mean it was sex with Matt, and he's not just a pretty face."

It was Nora's last question that Delilah was most hesitant to answer. Matt hadn't said it back. It didn't bother her then, and it still didn't bother her. But there was something telling Nora that left an uncomfortable feeling settling in her stomach. "No. He didn't." She finally admitted, quickly continuing before Nora could say anything. "It's okay though. I don't want him to say it if he doesn't mean it. It's not a bit deal. It wasn't like I was saying it to make him say it just so we could have sex. I said it because I meant it."

Nora couldn't help the 'awww' that had escaped her. It was good to see her friend be so happy, and boys were dumb; it would only be a matter of time before Matt was fine with saying the words back, she was sure. Nora knew a thing or two about waiting for feelings to be returned, but life managed to move on and fall into place when it was ready. She was proud of Delilah for being sure and ready, even if her timing had been slightly questionable.

"That's great, Delilah! It is, and now you get to have sex whenever you want, extra bonus!"

She laughed, covering her face for a moment. Seeing as she hadn't had the luck of sleeping with anyone in, oh, over a year now, the whole central point of this conversation was being missed and glossed over. Perhaps if she focused all of her attention on Delilah, she could manage to keep her thoughts away from all the fit quidditch players that were walking around the lawn.

"What made last night 'the night'?" she asked, "Were there candles lit and rose petals leading to the bedroom? Or wherever it occurred--have you ever had sex in a kitchen? That's an interesting time."

Delilah couldn't help the stupid grin that took over her face at her friends very true comment, her eyes drifting over to her boyfriend standing across the yard. What a pleasant though.

"Candles?" She laughed as Nora brought her attention back to her. "We would have set the place on fire, considering the lamps we broke just snogging on the couch. No no, it wasn't like that, it just-- happened." Delilah wasn't sure what had made last night 'the night'. Honestly, from and outside perspective, it was probably the least likely night.

"He had been out with his brother, and then came over to surprise me and we talked--" She made a face, suddenly remembering that her boyfriend was being dumb. Which was a completely unrelated topic, his poor decision making skills regarding his brother had nothing to do with her excellent decision making skills regarding them having sex. "Then we stopped talking and starting snogging, and when he suggested going to bed, I suggested we not." It wasn't exactly romantic, but Delilah really didn't think she would have wanted it any other way.

Though, when they had finally made it to the bed Delilah was entirely grateful to no longer have to worry about rolling over and falling to the floor. Perhaps later they could break in his bed. Or shower, or-- there were just so many possibilities now really. Or there would be if Delilah didn't have to think about the possibility of his little brother walking in on them, since he was now supposedly moving in and that was fantastic. Ugh. No. Delilah corrected herself, she needed to be supportive. She had her own flat. This would not be the end of the world.

"The kitchen, you say?" She asked raising a brow to her friend. "Well, its not like I actually use it for cooking, so--"
