	adrien brody, yes! maybe someone blonde like hunter parish. i think i want to play a red head though i dunno which. maybe one of the students will want to go to england to help with the disaster relief type stuff after the war. i picture some american wizards being totally uninterested in the war because it wasn't on their soil and others being super active (Reply to this)(Thread)

Paul Mcdonald is way cute and looks like Bradley Cooper's brother. This, of course, means I should play him.

My Adrien Brody kind of goes with the Hunter Parish in my head now, but we can totally try different pairings. Maybe he's a retired auror. Retired after the war and is a professor now?

I've also always liked the idea of a wizarding college. maybe it's a combined campus or the same institution with higher levels of wizarding education?

So far I have:
Adrien Brody - name: Archemedes age: 44 He was an auror who helped fight in the war. The US authorities recruited to send aid when things started to get bad for fear that it would come over here, but they didn't send a ton of aid, just enough to look like they were trying. Archemedes volunteered. He was over there for a year and now that he's come back he's decided to retire as an auror and teach. Normally, he's sweet and goofy and confident, but he's trying hard to hide the fact that some bad things happened to him over there. His mind isn't completely whole.

Bradley Cooper - name: Tiernan (whatever your brother's last name is), age: 35 Not any history on him, though I kinda pictured him having an Irish background, but that all depends on what you wanted to do with your Paul Mcdonald. If you don't want them to be related, that's totally cool too!

Bartek Borowiec - name: Hale Clements, age: 17-20 Hale is from the south and the swamps. His family has their own way of doing magic and he's the first of his clan that has ever ventured out to get any formal training. He comes from some pretty strange stock.

Alexander Skarsgard: Larit Porter - age 35. Auror who just got back from the war as well. He's probably more serious than most people and it's hard to get him to laugh or joke around too much.

Hunter Parish: Jordy Kessler - age 17. No history yet.

Paul McDonald: Carrick McKelly - age 24. Irish background is fine! I think he's probably in the college level of things, so that he can learn to be a Potions teacher.

Love the idea of Larit as a good friend to Archemedes. They could have been friends long before and went to the UK together. Larit can be one of the few people who knows how hard Archemedes has to work to interact normally with people these days.

Will the school have houses like Hogwarts? Or would the schooling system maybe have more than one school and that's how they are competetive? Like numerous small schools? I don't know if you like the house rivalries that you'd want to carry them over into the US version.

two houses sound good. It might also be interesting if those houses were divided by magical focus. Maybe instead of the hat they take written aptitude tests for placement?

Like one house could be the more physical arts, like herbology, potions, animal care, wand making, medical etc. Things that are more concrete?

And the other house can be the more intangible arts like charms, divination, spell crafting, legilimency, etc.

Do you have any preference on what the job would have been? Like the Ministry of Magic I figure there's a Secretary of Magic and he/she has an extensive set of offices that people can work at. Or maybe Tiernan is a lawyer that takes magical cases. Or he could do something more physical like dragon wrangling.
