Oh boy...or girl.
Blink.
Blink.
Blink.
That couldn’t be right. There was no possible way the thing could be right. Right? The chances were…astronomically slim yet the indicator was telling her otherwise.
What the hell happened?
Natasha rubbed her face with both hands and looked at the indicator once more. It didn’t change despite how much she wanted it to change. It was plain as day. She was pregnant. This was…wow. The last thing on earth she expected.
She had her first suspicions when she started sleeping more. Her normal four hours turned into six or eight. The last time Natasha had slept even remotely that long was when she was carrying Anya and Misha. The queasy stomach in the mornings was another sign. Natasha put two and two together and got a home pregnancy test.
The damn thing was positive.
She was trying to wrap her brain around the idea and trying to figure out how, outside of the obvious, it happened. Tony had a vasectomy years ago and she definitely hadn’t cheated on him, so what went wrong?
Natasha rubbed the bridge of her nose. Now what? First step would be getting immunosuppressants of course, then she had to tell Tony, and then tell the kids. Oh this was going to go over like a ton of bricks. Though while she was pondering what the possible reactions would be, an evil little thought crept into her mind.
Her husband loved to play games; well it was time to turn the tables on him. Coming out and just telling him would be way too easy. Natasha smiled as she put the testing stick in the box and grabbed the box. There would be no evidence left laying around for him to find.
With a plan in mind, she left the bathroom.
