Radley wasn't sure the note he'd gotten was real. They were letting him out. He stared at the post-it that came with his juice, turning it over in his hands. How were they going to let him out so early? He hadn't been in that long and he definitely didn't have everything under control. And if it appeared that he did, it was only because of Lucy.

He got up and walked down the hall, knocking on Lucy's door, waiting for her to answer. Maybe they were letting her out too. Maybe. He hoped. He didn't think he'd cope if she wasn't.

Lucy was still feeling... grumpy was probably the best word for it. She was feeling grumpy that other people had been let out and she was still in the hospital. She was beginning to feel like Doctor Snape wasn't ever going to let her go. She got up when someone knocked on the door, pulling it open and smiling at Radley.

"Hi," she said, stepping aside for him to come in. "I was just feeling sorry for myself. I'm glad you're here to stop me."

	That probably meant that she wasn't being released. He gave her a pained look and stepped in behind her. "What's wrong?" 	"No," Lucy said, wrapping her arms around Radley and looking up at him, smiling. "I just feel sorry for myself because all these people are being let out and I'm not. It's okay, though. 	Radley felt broken. He'd heard that Lucy was going to get out weeks before him. But, he guessed he was wrong. He held her a little closer, closing his eyes and smelling her hair. Lucy froze in Radley's arms, looking up at him. "They... They are?" It wasn't fair. Lucy wanted to be happy for Radley, that he was getting out, but mostly she felt hurt that everyone was getting out except her. Luna was crazy. Thoreau was slicing himself up and getting involved with a boy who was probably a psychopath. Everyone else she'd spent most of her time with in the hospital was gone already.

She pressed her face against Radley's chest, holding on to him tighter. She wasn't as crazy as Luna and Thoreau, was she? Even Rider was out. Rider. "I'm happy for you," she lied. "I just want to be out too."

Lucy held Radley tighter, starting to cry too. "It's not your fault," she told him. "It's my fault. Because I can't control myself. Because I have this stupid other personality that I can't make go away."

She reached up and wiped at her eyes, then looked up at him. "Will you visit me?" she asked. "Will you promise to come and see me and to write to me and to call me so I don't have to miss you too badly?"

Lucy chewed on her bottom lip, looking up at Radley. She didn't know what to say to him. How to make this better. "If you don't say yes to going now, they might not let you out again for a really long time," she pointed out. "Maybe... maybe they'll let me out soon too, right? They could. Snape could."

She pressed tight against him. "I don't want to be here by myself, but I don't want to make you stay. I just want us both to get better."

	Lucy nodded, glancing down at Radley, the size of him. She kissed Radley again and lifted her hips to help him take her jeans off. "It's okay," she said. "I want to be ready for you." She undid his trousers too, pushing them down his hips. She could be brave and do this with Radley. She loved him. It made all the sense in the world for them to do this together.
