How opposed are you to pink feathers?
[ /PRIVATE ]

Merry Christmas, I guess.

Not very opposed. Well, I guess it depends on what they're on? Why?

Also, what do you want for Christmas? I feel like shit for not asking sooner, and rather on the actual day.

Merry Christmas to you, too.

Nothing, I was just wondering.

It doesn't matter. Surprise me.

Got any good gifts this year?

Oh, really? I suppose I'll believe you.

I'm not very good at surprises... pink is-- What's your favour-- Pink is your favourite colour, right? Out of curiosity, of course.

Good gifts? Hardly. Parents sent money. And I think they were talking about a new owl, as if I need one of those, when I have a nice cat. Hm. What about yourself?

I'm sure you'll manage. I'm not nitpicky when it comes to presents and hey, my favourite colour is green, not pink.

You should accept that owl, I'll make it special. And no, I haven't got anything.

Maybe I will... it's a possibility. I could've sworn your favourite colour is pink, due to the little sign-thing you have at the end of your bed that sparkles, is pink, and has your name on it. So misleading, Malcolm, I'm ashamed.

I'll think about it. How would you make it special?

See, that's why you shouldn't make assumptions. My favourite colour has always been yellow.

Have you seen Charlie's owl? Or Dean's? Hard to miss, those two.

I know, I know. Terribly sorry. So, a bright yellow, like the colour of a canary, maybe?

Unfortunately, I have, yes. I'd appreciate if you didn't do anything to an owl I may or may not get, though. I doubt it'd appreciate your... show of affection. Someone already made my cat fucking sparkle. No idea who, but I've decided against asking. Should I? Or was it you?

More like blue, like a bluebird.

Buzz killer. I'd like to think my works of art appreciate their new appearances, and hey, I think your cat looks happier now that it has some colour in its life. Not that I had anything to do with it, of course.

But you just said that yellow is your favourite colour. Make up your mind, Baddock, or I'll get you something that's in a hideous colour. Or, even better (or worse, depending on how you look at it), I'll get you something in the Gryffindor colours. How tragic!

No, they probably don't, I'm sorry. If the animals could laugh at one another, I'm sure every other one of them would be laughing at Dean and Charlie's 'works of art,' as you put it. Did you put Charlie up to colouring my cat? The poor thing looks like she's scared to leave from underneath my covers!

Okay, okay. I made up my mind! How about orange? Pink? Purple? Ever seen a rainbow? And fuck no, nothing red or gold. What are you getting me, anyway?

What do you know about animals and sparkles, Melinda? And I did no such thing! Why do I always get blamed for this shit? Give it time, it'll get used to it. Evie's owl did

I don't like rainbows; they're too happy. I'll stick to the Gryffindor colours, I think they'll suit you quite well. And you'll see soon enough!

Apparently nothing... but still! You get blamed because you're notorious for doing foolish shit like this! If you let animals stay their natural colour, I doubt that anyone would be blaming you for things you 'didn't do.' Cat will not get used to looking radioactive, though.

If you use the Gryffindor colours, I'm feeding my present to your very pink, very scary cat.

Exactly, you can't speak for them. And just because I went and turned Charlie's and Dean's owls queer, doesn't mean that every shit happening now it's my fault. And they were just TWO owls! And in my defence, Dean asked me to make his purple.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Malcolm.
[info]mcr
2008-04-04 05:19 am UTC (link)
But they would suit you so well! Come on, the gold and red would mean you're supportive of all houses, not just your own. My cat is purple, too, not pink.

I'm still suspicious of you... because you would do that. Is that your way of letting your friends know you love them? Making their owls look homosexual? And if Dean asked you to jump off of the Astronomy tower, would you?

Melinda
[info]baddock
2008-04-04 05:26 am UTC (link)
That would make me a liar. I'm not a liar, Melinda. Pink, purple... both look good with sparkles.

I would, but I fucking didn't do it! Yes, that's exactly how I show my friends I love them. Is that why you want me to take the blame, then? And only if he jumped with me.

Where's your Hogwarts spirit? So ashamed. But no, nothing looks good with sparkles. At all. Are you gay? Has the queer rubbed off on you yet?

I'm sure you didn't! I can keep going all night long, Malcolm, but I doubt you'll convince me that you didn't turn my cat purple. You caught me. I was hoping you were the one to turn my cat purple so that I can feel the love that you give so easily to males. I must not be up-to-par, and that, Malcolm, is tragic. You're also a fool.

Where's yours? Pink and purple do. And I'm only gay for Charlie, and Dean sometimes. But I'm straight the rest of the time.

Fine, Bobbin. Go ahead and blame me if it makes you feel any better about having a creepy cat.

I don't need Hogwarts spirit. Oh, well, that's reassuring. I think you lean more towards the male persuasion, though.

Happy Christmas. Did you get mum's package yet? She was going to send you a present from the Vaiseys since I obviously can't pick a present out that's worthy of representing the family.

That's going to be a little late, though. Barry's off somewhere. I still don't understand how you can make him only answer to Strawberry but not be obedient.

Happy Christmas to you, Malcolm! I hope it was very cheery! My mum and I sat by the fire and read The Night Before Christmas like we always do, and it reminded me that when I was small, I used to be so worried about the reindeer, and then I felt just horrible for poor Rudolph because he's not listed at all in that poem! It's Dancer and Dasher and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen--but where's Rudolph! He saved Santa and all of Christmas, why can't we include him in the poem! It's just as bad as not letting Rudolph play any reindeer games, which I always figured was hide and seek and chess, but maybe reindeers have their own versions of games, like there is wizarding chess and gobstones, you can never be sure, and the reindeers don't seem willing to talk about it, which is a shame, for I'd love to play their games, and I would be sure to include Rudolph, thank you!
