News Broadcast: Symkarian Invasian.
"Reports are coming in from Symkaria that both major cities are under siege by what are unmistakeably Doombots and other Latverian military automata.

After decades of only occasionally mildly disturbed peace, Latveria has apparently finally invaded its southern neighbor. Victor Von Doom's motivation for this attack remains unknown; he has made no public statement."

	Andrew watches the news with a stoic expression. At least this one would be tough to blame on Genosha, on the surface. But this is still a destabilizing influence. Regretfully, he cancels his social plans, few as they were, and makes arrangements for a ride to the U.N. Things are going to get crazy for the next little bit here, he's sure of it. 	Vincent is in his work room, currently marking out a mixture of runes and algebraic formula around a tesla coil the size of a small child. He's still in the theoretical stages of his experiment, for the most part, but the first few energy trials have begun. A stack of books on vegan cuisine are a new addition on one of his work tables. "I do not know. Doombots can actually secure an area fairly efficiently with little harm done, depending on the nature of the counteroffensive against them, but I do not know. At any rate, this does not appear to be a minor border misunderstanding or a Skrull feint. They are in the two major cities."

Kristoff's still in shock. "It makes no sense. There's no reason to...and he even likes the woman."

	Vincent holds back a comment about his father not being able to truly 'like' anyone, as opposed to respecting. It's anything but the time. "Has Symkaria requested aid?" Surt take it... the new armor wasn't field-tested yet, but if a significant enough force of Doombots were deployed, he couldn't afford to go in half-cocked. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	A dozen or so scenarios that would require varying levels of involvement cascade before Vincent's eyes, and multiply even as he speaks. "Such as?" His fists have tightened without him realizing it, and his teeth graze his lower lip. Better to let Kristoff clarify, before his imagination gives him worse prospects. Kristoff doesn't think it's very complicated. "Unless this is quickly resolved in a just manner, whether Symkaria asks for, refrains, or in fact spurns aid, we may end up intervening."

A long pause. "Your Father's algorithms for maintaining the security system codes in Doomstadt are complex, and he has never spoken them aloud or written them down. But he has also had no reason to change a good system."

Nicolai was swearing loudly in Symkarian. He couldn’t understand why Doom would be doing this, his mother even called him a friend. What he wanted to do right now was go back home and help lead the counter offensive.

He had been half way through getting himself ready to go from New York to Symkaria when he had received a message from his mother tell him not to come back home. Not understand why in his right mind he should do that he called her and had gotten the brief reasoning that he should not for the good of Symkaria.

If it had just been his mother tell him not to come home he would have gone anyways but for the good of his country he would not disobey no matter how much he did not like it. If anyone needed him he would be off in the firing range blowing off steam.

	Well, /this/ would make life interesting for awhile. He been through Lateveria and Symkaria before, but Julian was always certain they were non-hostiles, politically. And now Doom had decided that expansion was the word of the day. He keeps an eye on the news to see how best to capitalize on this development. (Reply to this)

	Nick of course was on top of the situation and had been since the first Doombot landed in Symkaria. He had his agents in the surrounding countries on high alert and waiting to move at a moment's notice. All agents in Europe were put on alert. They had to be ready to move if needed. (Reply to this)
