Birthday Night at Big Nick's! (Backdated to October 15th)
Melissa calls May and leaves her a voice-mail.

"It's my birthday, Pretty Parker! Come down to Big Nick's once you're out of class and Gymnastics and see me! Oh, Kelly's going to be there, too! Time for you guys to meet. Love you!"

She picks out her slinkiest Little Black Dress and heels and puts her guns in her purse. She doesn't expect to have to kill anyone tonight, but the first drunk guy that tries to grab Kelly's, May's, or her ass tonight is probably going to the Emergency Room.

"Baby, are you ready? I'm nearly dressed." Mel says, actually dolling herself up a bit. Such is rare, but looking good for two of her three favorite girls is pretty important to her.

She'll go over the teleportation spell in her mind as she waits for Kelly to be ready.

Kelly is all dolled up. The little black skirt is exactly long enough to conceal her thigh holster for her derringer when she walks, and not an inch longer. She's otherwise going for the short skirt and a long jacket look, fingernails that shine like justice optional. Her t-shirt is designed like a video game controller, with the X-button prominent over one breast, and text under it reading 'Press and hold X to pick up.'
That probably won't help Mel's cause any. Ah well.

"Ok, I'm ready."

"I swear you have the most awesome shirts." Melissa says, following the shirts instructions a moment as she kisses her girlfriend.

"Okay, to Big Nick's. Now, remember, May's a normal so we can't really talk about guns and stuff around her." Melissa says.

"But she's good people, so I think we'll all be fine." she says, taking Kelly's hand.

Instantly, they'll appear behind Big Nick's, in the alley.

	And they'd find May already at the table, dressed in a fairly casual but still nice red dress. Gift-getting was not her strong suit, but she'd brought cake. 	"Hey you!" Melisa says, rushing up to hug her friend. She smiles brightly and then turns to Kelly. "Okay. May, this is my girlfriend Kelly. Kelly, this is my best friend, May. Kelly opens her mouth as if to say something.

Wait, no, that would be inappropriate.

She tries again, managing to get half a syllable out this time.

Wait, no, that, too, would be inappropriate. Funny, but inappropriate.

She glances at Melissa, then back at May, trying to not get strike three. Back to the dugout could be a long walk. Then the figurative lightbulb goes off.

She extends her hand. "Nice to meet you, May."

Melissa smiles as Kelly asks about how she met May.

"Well, I wasn't doing so hot in Doc Connors' Biology class, so he suggested I get tutored by his best student. I was expected someone stuck up and stuff, but May was really cool and she didn't consider me dumb for not knowing this stuff.

I even offered to pay her for her help, but she refused. She's a great tutor, though. My grade went up two whole letters. I was just shy of an 'A' at the end of last semester, but a high-B is good, too!" Melissa grins.

"Since then, we've just been hanging out here and there. Her little brother sort of has a crush on me...I think. How is Benjy anyway?" Melissa asks.

"His best friend was killed right in front of him a few months ago, Kelly. He's been taking it pretty hard." Melissa says, clarifying her concern.

	"I got the same thing the last time I tried to call and say hi. He said he was busy at practice and practically hung up on me." Melissa says, a little worried about Ben herself.
