A Talk Between Sisters
Svalin tried to keep herself busy as to not think on her grandfather's words about her unborn son. It was almost ironic that the Goddess of Hope could be bearing the one who would destroy Asgard and Earth. She wanted to believe that he would be the hope and savior of Asgard and Earth.

Svalin busied herself with brushing Tryggvi and Snowflake in the stables.

	It should not have surprised Asleif as to where she found Svalin, though on days such as this, it did somewhat. She herself made rather careful notice of where she placed her feet. "Well met, Sister." (Reply to this)(Thread)

"I am well," she said after a moment. Asleif forced herself to brush back her harsher thoughts. Who would have dared to suspect Svalin was so easily insulted by the mere presence of one she found distasteful? Maddening to her mind.

Of course, such only applied when she viewed her own actions. She had verbally speared of others for far less.

...Sometimes, Asleif reflected, she was not a particularly pleasant person.

"I would have words with you."

"I knowest thine feelings for the son of Amora and I wilt keep mine silence on such matter because thou'rt mine sister, but I doth expect thee to show me respect in return."

"I accept thine apology, sister, for thou'rt too dear to me to be at odds with." Svalin said.

"My thanks as well, sister, for your words and promises," Asleif replied. As good a truce as they could have hoped for.

You condemn him for who his mother is, Sister. How much less must you think of me, who learned some measure of my craft from the same woman?

Asleif brushed the thought aside and instead reached into her cloak, producing a charm shaped like a warrior's shield. She held it out to Svalin. "A charm. For your protection, for your wife, and for my growing nephew. I will watch, as I can, as I do for all my siblings... but let this act when I cannot."

	Dr. Demasi worked at a small clinic in LA and was the Defender's on-call doctor. She knew the Asgardians and their quirks and Svalin did not mind going there. "Nay. Curious.
