Luna looked down at the stake in her hand, before looking back up at Eli. He had teleported her to his penthouse in Las Vegas earlier that day because he wanted to show her how to "defend" herself against vampires.

"So...what do I do now?"

"Now, you ram that stake through my chest, aiming for where my heart would be. If you /must/ engage in hand-to-hand combat with a vampire, you will only have one chance to kill it before it can kill you." Eli says, looking at her with grave concern.

After the vampires nearly turned her, Eli had been insistent that Luna learn to defend herself in case he was ever absent.

"Now, give a try." he says, patting the spot where his heart would be.

	Luna looked at him like he was insane. Unfortunately, she could tell that he was completely and utterly serious. And yes, she knew that he was an Eternal...but still didn't like the idea of possibly hurting him. Luna nodded. "Okay." She charged him as fast as she could, thrusting the stake at his chest. Eli did not move. He wanted to see if Luna would truly go through with her attack and hoped she would.

The stake slammed into his chest and Eli was glad that she'd paid attention to everything he'd told her. He grimaced as it pressed into his body and out through his back and he hit the floor like a sack of stones.

"Excellent job, my love." he said, looking down at the stake as though it was simply a part of his coat. There was no blood or anything, as Eli did not have any circulatory system or internal organs.

"Again." he says, pulling out the stake and handing it to her.

"By the way, if a vampire can hand you back the stake, you are likely a dead woman." he says.

	"You are certain you are alright, my love?" She asks as she takes the stake back from him. "Hopefully, no vampires will ever hand back my stake to me." She walked a good distance from him, before charging at him again, stake raised. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
