Nightingale's conversation with Moon Knight's son has been replaying constantly in his mind.

Khufu sent dreams of Marc Spector, the old Moon Knight. Qamar had been guided to old abandoned lairs. All up to a certain point, and then... nothing.

He researched into what had happened to Marc Spector, but could find nothing. Nothing! He owns a corporation, but Qamar never found a sign of him.

...or did he? Had the information been blocked from his mind by an ancient Egyptian god?

Nightingale almost doesn't feel like... him. Like she's a totally different being.

And then there's that story about the old chosen of Khufu having mental issues. Like... multiple personalities mental issues.

And that's starting to sound really familiar.

He's scared of telling anyone about this. But he's got to.

So he finds himself knocking on Sammy's door in the middle of the night.

	Sammy closed the door behind him and put the room back into darkness. She brushed past him to get to the bedside lamp and switch it on. She rubbed her eyes before getting another look at him. 	Maybe Sammy was still mostly asleep, but she couldn't see why this would upset Qamar other than the obvious. Crazy wasn't all that unusual in the cape set and nobody liked to think about it. "Khufu, real or not, did not create the Moon Knight or Nightingale from scratch. You were already a fully developed person when you were chosen. You're combining everything you are with the Nightingale persona, just like the man Moon Knight was before he was chosen."

She reached out to make a grab at his hand. "It's reasonable to think that who you are outside of the mask will make a difference in how this plays out."

"I'm not sure. I want answers from Khufu, but it's not like I can call him on the phone. He's only contacted me in my dreams. But... I was looking for any sign of where the old Moon Knight could have gone, and I never found a sign of him, even though he's right out there. He runs a corporation, Sammy, and I never knew!" He's pacing again. "I feel like I've been lied to, but at the same time, I've never actually been told anything!"

He runs his hand through his hair. "And it's not like I can stop helping people."
