Pillow talk (AU)
Sarah is enjoying how comfortable her bed is. It is also very warm right now. She curls backwards up against her bed partner enjoying the fact that it was warming up her back decently. Sadly to say her back really didn't enjoy some things like the way the baby was starting to sit. She really wasn't up for moving right now.

Any hint at that will be met with a deathlgare of doom.

He'd always secretly liked staying after with her, especially on slow nights, but with this whole...situation, he wanted to even more. More out of wanting to see her okay and a feeling of responsibility now but nonetheless he tended to stay most of the night at her place.

Thomas puts his arm over her to pull her slightly closer. He still felt guilty, no matter what she said, but he was doing his best to deal with everything even if it'd taken a toll on him. "You should go to sleep," he says quietly and he reaches up to brush some of her hair away from her face and neck.

	"Uh huh," he responded skeptically. No way she wasn't tired, not after what they got up to. "Mmm, sorry." The hand around her removes itself to gently start kneading out any tension in her lower back. "So what do you have planned for tomorrow?" Okay so maybe she was a little tired. They had to get creative sometimes because her belly tried to get in the way. Thank goodness they're both flexible.

"I was going to look at curtains again." She had been in the mood to do something about her living room. She can't hang them herself. The doctor had been very clear that even though she is very limber that it is also a terrible idea for her to try and do things like that if it involves power tools.

Apparently power tools are a no no. "I swear I won't do anything that goes against doctor's orders. I learned my lesson after the fan incident."

She didn't need that lamp anyways.

	"I only did the parts that wouldn't hurt me," she protests again. After all this time she still defends her actions. It's almost cute. "Besides. I'm fine right now. 	He's just a tad over protective of her. "Acrobat is a skill and side thing for us," he responds. "What were you hoping for?" Normally he doesn't talk about the baby much, he still feels it's a personal failing on his part that he slipped up like that, but he knows he needs to get past that and this is him trying. 	He'd like this to happen a few years later but that wasn't possible. "Either. Boys can be a handful too, just in a different way. I don't really have a preference though." He can't help but think 'Not good enough' but knows that voicing that would annoy her so doesn't say it even if his face might betray it. "You're biased," is all he says even if he thinks she should be biased in the opposite way.

Thomas reaches out to catch the hand that had been pushing the hair out of his face and he tries to change the subject. "I should get a haircut." It was getting a bit longer than he was used to or comfortable with. He wasn't Dick or Tim that could pull off a bit longer hair.
