What's That Sound?
Green Arrow was out on patrol, fully stocked with a mixture of trick arrows and regular arrows as always. He'd been getting a lot better since the extra training started kicking in. But the night was quiet, and it didn't seem like there was going to be much action. He stopped in an alleyway and peered out of the corner, hoping to spot something.

	Immediately at the sound of a gun being fired, Keith ducked and turned, an arrow already knocked to his bow and ready to fire off. But he saw nothing. Cautiously, he stood up again. 	Now that, Keith wasn't expecting. He turned to see a knife rushing at him, and only barely managed to avoid the full-on attack. He felt the knife cut across his side, throwing his blood across the cement while he rolled to the side and knocked an arrow and fired it off. Keith was thrown off by the sudden surge of attacks. He both stumbled and weaved backwards, trying his best to avoid the slashes and punches (which wasn't working out entirely). He didn't have time for returning the blows since the dude had been pretty good about dominating the flow of the fight.

He desperately shoved the end of his bow at the figure's midsection.

	Keith stumbled farther while the figure came after him. He;d never been so terrified of an enemy before then. He looked back and his eyes widened. Forced to turn around, he was horrified. "No... no! 	The figure was thrown back. The bow lodged into it was tossed aside, just like the bloodied knife in it's hands. There was a lack of movement for a few moments, but then it got up. After a moment of staring Green Arrow down, it left. Onomatopoeia had no interest in fighting meta-humans. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Oh my God." Keith dropped to his knees, with one hand on the ground and the other holding the cut on his stomach. He was bleeding, a lot. He almost died in that fight. Why did that freak leave, though? And why did that sonic scream not really do anything more than slow it down? And how was he going to get out of this mess? No, he couldn't make it home on his own.

Keith grabbed his phone--good thing he had it on him all the time--and got somebody on speed dial. "Come on...Mia."

Zach shakes his head. "I don't want to move him until I've got him stabilized." He rolls up his sleeves and examines the wounds, magically rending fabric as he goes to get at them with minimal movement of Keith's body.

He furrows his brow as he examines the wound to Keith's abdomen. "I can patch the rest without a problem, at the cost of about an hour or three off his lifespan, but this...." He grunts, shaking his head. "Mia.... get behind him, and hold your bow into his mouth."

His gaze turns cold. "Keith... this is going to hurt."

	"Keith... bite down. It'll keep you from taking off your tongue." Zach produces a wand, and the end starts to glow, until it's blazing hot. "It didn't breach the abdominal wall, so I just need the stop the bleeding. Best I can do is cauterize it." He advances slowly, silently giving Keith one last chance to decide risking a hospital. 	Zach carefully works his way across the wound, binding the edges together and then cauterizing them. After what must seem like forever for Keith, he finishes. "He's going to need plenty of rest, and it's going to scar something awesome, but he should be okay. Going to need a bunch of antibiotics though. How long was that wound open?" 	Keith hisses while biting the bow as hard as he can. Even when Zach was done, it hurt like hell. He needed a breather before he could say anything. And Mia was going to have quite the difficult time getting her bow back until Keith decided it was a good time to stop biting down. (Reply to this)(Parent)
