We Can Hardly Stand the Wait, Please Christmas Don't Be Late (TBolts)
Christmas. Yule. Saturnalia. Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. Many cultures have celebrated and still celebrate a winter festival. There have been many names for it over the millennia. No matter the name it is a time to come together and celebrate with feasts and gifts with friends and loved ones.

Each culture has a legendary figure who would deliver gifts to children during this time. In Russia and some Slavic cultures he is known as Ded Moroz, Grandfather Frost, and comes not on Christmas but on New Year’s along with his granddaughter Snegurochka, or ‘”Snow Maiden”. In the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe he is known as Father Christmas. In the Netherlands and Belgium he is known as Saint Nicholas or “Sinterklaas” and in France he is known as Père Noël. In the United States we know him as Santa Claus.

No matter the name or who is delivering gifts, it is the season of peace, joy and togetherness. It is the season for thinking about loved ones, friends and those less fortunate. It is a time to witness the goodness and generosity the human race is capable of. It is a time for peace on Earth and goodwill toward man.

Anya had spent Christmas morning in New York with her family, but she rocketed off north around lunchtime. She arrived at the Thunderbolt's headquarters around 12:30 and went to her room to fetch the gifts for her teammates.

For each she got a brand new top of the line custom configured laptop. Syd's was bigger than a standard laptop and the keyboard was redesigned for ease of use. On top of the laptops she got them each a two hundred dollar gift card to Amazon.com for whatever they wanted.

Greyson hadn’t celebrated what most people would call a normal Christmas since he was five years old. Most of the time if he was lucky he got weapons for Christmas that he was expected to train with and master how to use or throw. Sometimes dear old dad had been home for the holidays which was not always a good thing.

Because of all this he felt kind of awkward with all of this and wasn’t really sure what do or even get people since he didn’t know any of them that well so he got them all prepaid credit cards with 50 bucks on them.

	Amazing the way Stark could just throw money around like that, really. Sydney did pretty good with her on the side and sometimes under the table IT shtick, but still. Fortunately, however, she'd put together gift packets for each consisting of useful gadgetry. (Reply to this)

Victor didn't have much in the way of money, and didn't really know the gang outside Molly that well just yet, so he opted for something more practical.

Each member of the Thunderbolts got a coupon good to have their room repainted by him, in whatever pallette arrangement they requested. This place still wasn't quite 'home' yet, after all.

Molly and Syd, meanwhile, got their own sno-cone making kits and a few months' supply of syrup to use with it. Each of them had a tag attached stating they were not to be caught taking the syrup 'straight'.

	As a final gift to the whole team, Anya hired a private chef for the team. It would be nice to eat homecooked food once and awhile and take it a little easy on the takeout budget. (Reply to this)
