Svalin had settled back into her room at the Defenders' Compound and went to the stables to see to Tryggvi and Snowflake. Zoey had been taking very good care of her horse and Svalin was proud. The dogs and tiger seemed to be doing well and it made Svalin happy.

When she was all settled in she made her way up to the main building for something to eat and some mead. She grabbed some cheese and a loaf of bread from the kitchen and a bottle of mead. It wasn't Asgardian, but would do in a pinch. It felt good to be home.

She grabbed a seat at the breakfast counter and started to eat.

	Svalin laughed. "Of course. Why else would thee put up with directors? I art glad thou'rt enjoying thyself." She broke off another chunk of bread. It had been a long eight months on the road. 	He was not ready for the quick shift, and finds himself struck in the face - but then defense never was his strongest point anyway. Trying to keep the end of the staff caught for a moment longer, he lunges, trying to put his shoulder into her to bowl her over. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Most of Svalin's weight was on her front foot when he plowed into her making her a little off balance. He hit her and she fell backward. She tucked her legs up between them as she fell and when her back hit the ground, she used her legs to flip him off of her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's pushed back, but heavy and strong enough that when he catches himself after a couple steps, he shifts right back forward, swinging his axe downward hard. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin jumped to her feet as soon as he was off of her. Dallying was dangerous when fighting Hal. Speed, finesse and skill were the keys when fighting him for he clearly had the advantage in strength. Her weapon shifted back to a sword and she held it up to block the blow while she stepped off to the side. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The axe is deflected neatly to the side, burying itself in the floor. Not as fast as she is, and the axe being a slower weapon, one of his hands comes off the handle to swing a backhand at her face. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin was caught with the backhand and with Hal's strength behind it she was lifted off her feet a little. She stumbled back a bit and shook off the pain. Her weapon transformed into a war hammer and she rushed forward. She couldn't always be on the defensive. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's just recovering when she's coming right back at him, he brings the axe up in time to deflect the worst of the blow, but still gets clipped across the shoulder, enough to spin him and put him too off balance to swing an attack in immediate return. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's taken off his feet, but quickly kippups back up, favoring one leg for a moment. To her credit, he abandons the axe in the process, at least for a moment, trying to get inside the easy swinging reach of the hammer and swing a combination of punches at her instead. 	Svalin quickly back peddled and tried to stay out of his reach. Thankfully the front lawn was level ground and she didn't have to worry about tripping. She used her staff to try to keep him out of reach. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
