In Repair (Harvey)
It had started at work. Shortly after her first cup of coffee Jensen noticed her WiFi acting up when her CNN news feed began cutting in and out. It wasn't critical, but it was annoying so when lunch came Jensen went to reset it. Hiding in the ladies room she ran her still-human fingers along the her armpit looking for the access joint. It should have been a simple button press reset; instead, when she hit the button a sharp shot of pain ripped through the wiring and thus through her whole body. The vision in her left eye went black for a moment. Something was wrong and as she tried to move her arm to dissipate the pain she heard a distinctly metal noise before she felt the hinge lock. Something in the arm was broken. The WiFi, however, came right back on and all other systems were reporting normal.

From her desk she sent a message.

Brandon, the arm's broken. Need a repair.

Out of town until next Thursday, Jen. You're going to have to go see my friend. I'll let him know to expect you tonight.

A second message from Brandon contained information for a man named Harvey.

Six hours later, Jensen rang the bell outside the address Brandon had provided, her jacket pulled tight and her head down. She wanted to be as invisible as possible.

When Harvey got a message from Brandon about doing some repair work, he was a little shocked. He didn't realize there was somebody in the city like Jensen. But it wasn't a problem for Harvey to do some repair work. Harvey took down all the information he needed to know about Jensen's mechanics and made sure he had the free time.

Six hours later, he heard his doorbell ring. Harvey went to the door and opened it.

"Miss Jensen?" he asked.

	"Yes," she said looking up a bit at him. She studied him for a moment, her cybernetic eye scanning his face and adding it to a database she kept running of people she'd med. 	Nothing about the guy checked back to her as OsCorp so she went in and waited until the door closed before taking off her jacket and then cardigan to reveal the tank top underneath. "The WiFi stopped working this morning. When I went to reset it, something seemed to break in the hinge/joint area. Arm's been mostly useless all day." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Harvey closed the door behind her and walked ahead of her into the living room. It was a little messy with leftover parts used to develop his suit. The schematics were lied out on the coffee table.

He took a look at her arm from a distance while listening to what she had to say. He wouldn't know for sure without getting a closer look, though.

"May I take a closer look?"

Granted, she probably expected him to. But Harvey didn't want to treat her like a piece of equipment.

"Alright," Harvey replied with a nod. He got close and went behind her shoulder and felt around first. He located the area of the skin that peeled back to reveal the mechanical joint. He took a close look and lightly touched around inside. At one point he felt an irregularity and took his hand off.

"I believe I've found the problem. It's a pretty simple wiring problem. It's take me about five or six minutes to get it fixed. I just need to get a few tools, so I'll be right back."

He waited for her reply before leaving, and then returned with a small case of tools and a length of wire.

"If you ever need to replace something, I know a few people who could probably get you what you need."

He started working in her shoulder. It was high-tech stuff, but Harvey was pretty comfortable around it. Definitely usual technology, though. He didn't say anything about it, though. It wasn't his business to question where she got it. Brandon probably knew, and that was enough.

"I wasn't able to." She paused for a moment and looked at him. "I was in a subway accident. It was particularly gruesome though if you're interested I'm fairly certain that you can find photos and reports online still. I lost my arm, my eye, and ended up paralyzed with a head injury. Brandon...he decided he couldn't stand to see me like that so he made me this instead."

	"We'd been working on tech like this for awhile for OsCorp. We just hadn't tested it. Looks like I got to be the test." She smiled a little. "It's not bad. Most of the time I can fix minor stuff myself but there are some things that just don't work the same way as before. And this arm is a wonder. I forget sometimes that it's not real." 	"Family you were not aware that you had?" Jensen relaxed a bit. Talking to Harvey was really nice and it was good to be able to have a conversation with someone who was already aware of her mechanical side, as it were.
