Happy birthday, Aine!
Aine was Luna's best friend, so of course her birthday wasn't going to go unnoticed. Luna brought her a book on the history of opera in Italy, a couple of bottles of her favorite wine, and a butterfly charm bracelet. She was going to make eggplant parmesan for dinner and had ordered her favorite cake from the bakery down the street.

James was a horrible shopper so he went with the tried and tested method of a gift card. He got a generic gift card that Aine could use anywhere with two hundred on it.

Unlike her half-"sister" or her best friend, Stevie was entirely deficient when it came to the shopping gene, for herself or for other people.

She'd settled on a $50 gift card to the local mall for Aine.
