Bad Weather Explosion
Brad had been assigned drop off and pick up duty for a SHIELD team going after a HYDRA weather control device project. It was a pretty easy mission from the info he had been given about the assignment and that had proven to be true. Well a least until someone had messed up big time and broke the experimental prototype device. That caused the weather around the base to go haywire.

Now Brad found himself flying in a clunky mission transport trying to fly through a couple of scary looking tornadoes. He was really wishing he was in something with a bit more flight maneuver ability right now. It was taking all of his skill to keep some measure of control of planes flight. But needless to say things were pretty bumpy right now up in the air with a high chance of being upgraded from bumpy to crashy soon.

Why she was on this, Lena had no idea. But she'd been sent to another based to briefly look over some research into certain power sets and that hadn't been far from this weather control center so Brad was picking her up along then heading for the SHIELD team dealing with HYDRA.

Unfortunately, nobody mentioned that it'd be in a clunky thing while flying through fricken tornadoes!

She gritted her teeth and gripped her seat's armrests. "T-t-t-this is w-w-w-hy I d-don't le-e-e-ave the l-a-a-ab," she grumbled while bumping up and down in her seat.

	"Well just hang on there," Brad says through gritted teeth on the comms. "At least you're the best pilot SHIELD's got." Not that Brad was sure how much that meant while flying through tornadoes in what he compared to a glorified tub with wings. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Worst part was that she knew they were in a glorified tub with wings. He'd said as much back when he'd come to pick her up when the weather was fine. Which...wasn't too comforting.

"With the way this thing is flying I can only do that," she replied while now gripping the straps that were keeping her in the seat. They were really the only things preventing her from getting tossed out of her seat with all the unpredictable movement.

	"I'm already hanging onto things," she retorts but does tighten her grip, though she really couldn't tighten much. "Bumpier? Oh great. "You'd think this sort of thing would be a priority!" But bracing of herself occurring right now. All she can think is that it'd be a really bad idea to start listing the effects of G force on the body and then what would happen to them should they start a free fall about now. It already felt like they'd left her stomach way behind.

Life in SHIELD certainly made the worst rollercoasters look dull.
