Happy Birthday, Tim! (backdated to July 13).
Sammy was still mad at Tim, but she couldn't let his birthday go by without some sort of acknowledgement. Not when she'd finally found the ultimate gift months before. She'd jumped through hoops to get it, invoked her father's name and still followed the rules exactly.

The rat hadn't even told her he was leaving SHIELD or where he was staying when he left! Some friend he was! But that didn't stop her. She had the three cases of Westvleteren Trappist beer delivered to the address she'd gotten from the deputy director. It was supposed to be one of the holy grails of beer and she thought he'd like it.

A card was included but not signed. She was mad!

Tim didn't need the card to be signed. He knew who it was from. He was still picking up the pieces of his shattered heart so he opted with an email thank you. He didn't know if he could handle seeing her just yet.

It was the worst thing she could think to say, but it wasn't an excuse to be rude. She could, however, be very very VERY polite.
