Who: Olly and friends.
What: Bonfire Party
Where: Olly's house
When: November 5th!
Rating: R?? (knowing Olly and Freds antics, Olly says people are welcome to his spare room but his bed and the dining room table are OUT OF BOUNDS!)
Status: Incomplete

Oliver bent down at the foot of the large pile of wood that was in his garden, using his wand to aim a spell into the centre of it. Moving back quickly he watched as the fire began to spread, starting the bonfire. Quickly he made his way around the fire, pushing foil wrapped potatoes into it; apparently something muggles did on bonfire night which he through sounded quite interesting. Oliver took several steps back and shivered as he passed through the wards he had placed around the bonfire. They were only there to stop any stray pups heading for the flames.

Whistling Oliver called Bailey and Dram to him, chuckling as they came barrelling over. Oliver planned on putting the dogs into a large pen he had built and then silencing it while the fireworks were going off, he didn’t want them to be frightened.

Hearing the doorbell go Oliver headed to the front door, thankful that everything was sorted already and pulled it open to see who the first person arriving would be.

“Hey, come on in” He grinned brightly, chuckling as Dram and Bailey jumped at the persons feet.

Tig was excited. Her earlier down moment at being ditched last minute by her Bonfire Night date completely forgotten in favour of the party she was now attending with Lici. Well, not with with Lici. But Lici was kind enough to let her tag along.

Alicia had taken her hand and they side-along apparated to Oliver's house, which was good because Tig had never been there before and probably would have ended up in Wales or Egypt if left to apparate there on her own. Her eyes widening at the sight of the house. It was huge and pretty and Tig liked it very much. She gave Alicia's hand a little squeeze with excitement before letting go of her hand - not wanted to appear too eager to hold Lici's hand all the time, even though she wouldn't mind doing just that.

"I think I need to find me a Quidditch player to get a house like this. You guys must earn a fortune." The house was impressive and could probably put her little townhouse she shared with Katie to shame. Although, she loved the townhouse too.

Skipping forward a little, she pressed the doorbell after a quick look to Alicia to make sure it was okay. Beaming when the door opened and returning the greeting in a voice similar to the one she used at work. "Hi Oliver. Hope you don't mind me tagging along. My other plans fell through." At that her smile faded a little until she spotted the pups at her feet. "PUPPIES!!"

Squeezing Tig's hand as she let go, Alicia smiled at her friend, glad to see she wasn't taking being stood up too badly. At least not outwardly and Lici was determined to make sure the younger woman had a fantastic time at Oliver's. Chuckling at the comment, she shook her head. 'Not all of us are as loaded as Wood. I haven't been playing top flight as long so my house isn't so fancy, as you know.' Tilting her head, she gave Tiger a cheeky look, 'I'm sure there'll be plenty of players here tonight for you to check out.'

Watching as her friend skipped forward, Alicia took a minute to re-tie her scarf before joining Tiger on the doorstep. Smiling as Oliver opened the door, Lici leaned down to pat the puppies before addressing the Scot. 'Like the jacket Wood... isn't that Gingerbread's?'

Oliver grinned at the two ladies who were on his doorstep. "Hey Tig, of course I don't mind, you were invited you know," he stepped back so the girls could get into the house. Oliver chuckled as the pups yapped for attention.

Looking at Lici, Oliver couldn't stop the laugh that escaped his lips. "Mhmm, he doesn't know I have borrowed it yet, he left it here when the twins dropped the fireworks off," Oliver thought back to when the fireworks had been dropped off that morning.

Calling the pups Oliver shut the door behind everyone as they entered. "Drinks are in the kitchen, but what can I get you two ladies?" He asked, trying to be a good host. Oliver knew everyone would make themselves at home, he had already made up the guest rooms in case anybody decided to stay over.

A look of realisation dawned on Tiger's face when Oliver said she had been invited too, a small pink blush tinting her cheeks. She thought the invite might have included her but wasn't too sure because her and Oliver weren't exactly as close as say Oliver and Lici or Oliver and Katie.

She knelt down and patted the pups briefly before standing again and entering the house, looking about in curiousity. Tig had no clue who Lici meant when she said 'Gingerbread's' but figured it was one of the Weasley Twins at Oliver's comment that followed. Of course, after a little thought the answer had to be Weasley 1 because she recalled seeing the jacket on Fred.

"How did you get the jacket bigger?" She wondered out loud. "Not that you are big. You're actually quite fit. Just that you are bigger than Weasley 1 and if that's he's jacket, wouldn't it be too small for you?" Tig wasn't known to think outside the obvious. She was the kind of girl that only understood things once they were explained by someone much smarter than her... which in her opinion was everyone.

In a way she was glad Oliver was wearing a leather jacket. Made her feel like she fit in with her bright red leather trousers.

"Oh, um... a G-spot Martini please." Tig replied, giggling a little. Certain cocktail names always made her giggle.

Oliver looked down at the jacket he was wearing and shrugged, "Just seems were the same size, I must just have long legs," He hadn't even been sure the jacket would fit him when he slipped it on, but thankfully it did. Maybe it had altering charms on it so it increased or decreased in size depending on the wearer, he really didn't know.

"Coming right up Tigger, Lici?" He asked, leading both of the girls to the kitchen, puppies at their heals. The two dogs were currently at the stage of following everyone around. Stepping up to the island in the middle of the kitchen, that was covered in many different bottles of alcohol and juices, each will a cooling charm on them, Oliver began to mix Tig's drink, making enough to fill the large cocktail glasses he had bought for the party.

Handing Tig her drink, Oliver quickly threw together a Scottish slammer and downed his drink while he waited for Lici's answer.

Alicia came up behind Oliver and slipped her arms round him, squeezing briefly. 'Hmmmm... I'd say you were about the same.' She smoothed her hands down his stomach. 'Waist...' Chuckling as her fingers went lower, she suddenly pulled away. 'No comment on the rest, but definitely longer legs. Though your shoulders are about the same.'

Skipping into the kitchen, Lici's eyes lit up as she saw all the bottles lined up on the bench. 'I think I'll just start with a Mai Tai.' Leaning against the island, she watched as Oliver mixed the drinks, taking hers as it was handed her and took a sip. 'Mmmm delicious. You been learning from Pretty?'

Tig tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out if Oliver was the same size as Fred or not. When Alicia hugged the man as if measuring him up and said they were about the same she gave a little shrug and trusted the other blonde's judgement completely.

She followed into the kitchen, a small squeak of delight escape her at seeing all the bottles. Tig was by no means an alcoholic, she just liked the pretty colors and shapes of the bottles. Of course, the stuff inside the bottles was nice too.

"Thank you," Tig murmured politely upon getting her drink. She was always well behaved with manners when a guest in other people's homes. Sipping her drink, a little hum left her lips at how delicious it was.

She looked at Oliver after Lici's question, genuinely curious for the answer. "Pretty makes the best drinks. I think he'd be a wonderful person to teach making them." Tig babbled a little, the rate of her speech speeding up a little. "I wonder if he could teach me. I'll have to ask next time I am at the club."

Feeling arms go around his waist, Oliver glanced over his shoulder. Shivering as Lici's hands slipped down his stomach Oliver let out a low growl as the blonde teased him. "You are a tease, but if you get to grope, then so do I," before the blonde managed to slip away Oliver ran his hands over her thighs. "No comment on the rest huh? I'll get your opinion later," he winked at her.

"Actually I have, I get to sneak behind the bar occasionally. He started me off with the simple stuff so don't get too complicated." Oliver reached into the cupboard that was in the island and pulled out a little notebook, full of loads of different cocktails recipes. "I have to write them down so I don't forget," he blushed a little at his admission.

‘No comment,’ Lici repeated cheekily, licking her lips as he smoothed his hands over her thighs. ‘Later.’ It was no secret that Alicia and Oliver were friends with benefits. The same could be said of her and Fred, though things hadn’t been like that between them for a month or so now. A small frown crossed her face when she thought of that, but she quickly smiled again as her drink appeared.

Giggling as Oliver produced his notebook; Lici leaned over and plucked it from his fingers. Flipping through the pages she made a mental note of all the ones she wanted to try. Intending on testing Oliver’s mixing skills that evening. ‘There are some really good ones in here.’ She passed the notebook back, sipping her drink again. ‘I’ll have a Scottish Slammer next, please.’

Tig giggled a little at the pair's antics, a part of her wishing to join in but unsure how. Despite having a bubbly, upbeat personality, Tig wasn't very forward with flirting. At least, she didn't think she was. Sometimes she'd say something that could be taking into dirty context but she never got the double meaning until after she had said it.

At seeing the notebook, Tiger grinned and scooted closer to Lici to look at it with her. She could see a few she recognised but there were quite a few she didn't. "I like the look of that one." Tig pointed to the book briefly before it was handed back. She sipped her drink and moved back a little so Alicia wasn't crowded by her anymore. "What's in a Scottish Slammer?"

"Definitely," Oliver licked his lips, knowing he would find the blonde later in the night, even if it was just for a few dances. It wasn't like he would be cheating on Fred, they both 'saw' other people.

Frowning as the little book was plucked from his fingers Oliver looked at both girls as they flicked through it. "Which one Tig? But yeah, there are quite a few different ones in there," Oliver took the book back and nodded, "Scottish slammers are easy!" Grabbing three glasses Oliver pulled the ingredients closer as he began to make the drinks up in a huge cocktail shaker. "Orange liqueur, a decent scotch whiskey, Amaretto, sugar syrup and strawberry juice," Oliver measured out each of the ingredients as he said their name. Throwing some ice into each glass Oliver looked at the girls.

"Fancy giving it a shake?" He asked, looking between both of them for an answer.

Nodding her agreement as Tig pointed out a drink, she grinned at her friend. 'Me too, we'll have those after, yeah?' Clearing a little space on the bar, she lifted herself up to perch on the edge. Tilting her foot slightly, she admired her shoes for a moment, loving the way they looked and definitely glad she'd bought them.

Smiling slightly as Oliver listed the ingredients she let out a soft giggle. 'You know Olly, I think I would definitely like to shake it.' Taking the shaker she shook it deliberately mimicking another action. 'It's all in the wrist.' Grinning she passed the shaker over to Tig. 'Your turn!'

"That one." Tig pointed it out to Oliver when he asked. "Yeah, we'll have those and many others later, yeah? I like blue eyes. Very pretty, right Lici?" Anyone who knew Tiger-Lily knew the girl was excited just because she jumped quickly back and forth between topics.

She giggled when Lici said she'd like to shake it - not completely oblivious to the innuendo implied by that. Her giggles didn't cease when Lici proceeded to shake the shaker. "All in the wrist." She mimicked a little as the shaker was passed to her, copying Alicia's actions for a little bit before handing it back to Oliver.

"You know, someone once came in the hospital with an injured wrist from not 'shaking' right." Tig babbled a little, making air quotes with her fingers when she said shaking. "I didn't know it was possible to do it a wrong way, but apparently there is. Found out first hand when I went on a date with him afterward. You'd think he'd learn to do it right after injuring himself the first time."

Sophie was grinning as she arrived. A party sounded like a much needed break from work and such. She really did need to get out more.

Chuckling when she was greeted by puppies she knelt down to pet them, looking around for someone she knew. Once she did see someone she grinned widely as she stood up.

Demanding a hug she kissed their cheek, "Well this seems like a great party so far!"

Katie slipped from the kitchen after grabbing a drink, the place was quite busy now, full of people she did and did not recognise. It seemed Oliver had invited most of his team and their families along to the party also.

Looking around for someone she knew Katie spotted a familiar face bent down stroking Oliver's Malamute puppies and quickly made her way over. "Hey love!" She smiled hugging the women she worked with, returning the kiss to the cheek. "It does, I can't wait for the fireworks, I'm assuming Oliver got them from the twins and their fireworks are fantastic," Katie beamed, remembering the many times she had seen the firework displays of the twins making before.

"Have you spotted anyone else yet?" She asked, sipping her drink.

"I love their fireworks," Sophie said with a grin. "I suppose we'll have to tell Oliver he has great ideas sometimes and stroke his ego now won't we?" Her tone was light and teasing though, words meant to be amusing and fun, not mean.

Shaking her head she said, "No, I haven't spotted anyone else yet." Looking around she gave Katie a grin, "Though I think I've spotted a few people I'd like to know."

"So do I," Katie glanced around the room, just making sure the Scot wasn't anywhere near. "Mhmm I think we will. Just not too much, can't having him get all big headed on us," she giggled softly. Katie loved Oliver to pieces, but she knew what he could get like with compliments, sometimes they went to his head.

Looking around Katie let her eyes wander over all the people in the room. "I agree with that statement, there are some very good looking men and women in this room. Maybe we can get to know a few of them," She giggled, inclining her glass at someone that caught her eye.

"Do you want to stay inside or shall we head outside near the bonfire?"

"Definitely can't have that," Sophie said with a giggle of her own. She tended to be good at both stroking egos, and taking them down a few notches. "We can gang up on him if he gets too big headed, just have to make sure he doesn't have any back up."

Tilting her head slightly Sophie nodded, "Good taste," she spotted someone who grabbed her attention. "I think I might focus on him a bit later."

Thinking about the question for a second Sophie said, "Let's find me a drink then head out to the bonfire."

"Nah, ganging up on him is mean since he did throw the party," Katie smiled, she was glad someone had done something for bonfire night as otherwise she would have ended up sat in her bedroom window watching the fireworks that were being set off around her house.

Katie chuckled softly, "Maybe you should sweetie, he seems to be on his own, I mean except for the team mates he's stood with. If I remember correctly, he plays with Olly," Katie was sure he played with her friend, if not he played on a rival team.

"Come on then, I found my drink in the kitchen, Olly seems to have done good with the drinks selection," Katie reached for Sophie's hand to lead her through the people that were stood around chatting.

"We'll have to wait for another time then," Sophie teased her. "Though its always best to do it without the twins around. We know that they'll just gang up on us."

She raised an eyebrow at Katie, "Did you scope out all the men already? I'm only a little bit late." Still, it was nice to hear the bloke she was looking at seemed to be alone tonight. It was never good to flirt with someone in a relationship.

"To the kitchen it is," she let Sophie lead her through the crowd moving to make her own drink of pineapple juice, grenadine, and some flavored vodka. She couldn't remember if it had a name but she enjoyed it. "So Olly, twins, hot quidditch players, who else is here?"

Katie nodded, "No matter if we wait, the twins will still be on Olly's side, unless we maybe plot with George?" Katie voiced her thought, she knew George enjoyed winding up the Scot.

"I scoped a few out of them out already, I am more than willing to share, I know where will be a fair few single ladies here tonight," Katie glanced around once more. She hadn't spotted anyone in particular that she wanted to get to know better as of yet, but she would keep looking.

"The girls are here, I think the band from Neverland is here too, but I'm not one hundred percent about that one," Katie glanced around seeing if there was anyone she recognised as she topped up her drink, ready for their venture outside.

"True," Sophie said with a sigh. "Those troublesome twins." Though involving George had potential. "That could work, he'd be a better bet than Fred I think."

Sophie nodded, "There will be plenty of time for me to scope as well. I was just teasing."

Taking another drink Sophie said, "So all in all a fabulous party. I think I did see Oz as we headed in. I got a bit distracted," she admitted with a giggle. "Is Pretty here as well?"

"But we do love those troublesome twins," Katie giggled, they definitely brought something special to their group of friends. "I have to agree with that, George tends to wind Olly up more than Fred does."

"That there will, Olly has brought together a fine selection of people," Katie giggle, making sure to whisper her words in the other girls ear. They didn't need everyone to know they were planning on looking around for some fun.

Nodding Katie glanced around all the alcohol, trying to figure out what she would be drinking next. "I doubt Pretty will be here, if both twins come then someone needs to watch the club, it is a Saturday night after all," Katie had an idea of heading to the club when the party came to an end, but she wasn't sure how late the party would end, she could always make her mind up at the night.

"Yes we do," Sophie told her. "I think they get more embarrassed when we remind them of that though." Laughing she nodded, "That is definitely true. Fred would likely prank us just for suggesting pranking Olly."

Giggling with Katie Sophie nodded again, "I almost feel bad for thinking about pranking him since he did such a good job with this party. Oh well."

Shrugging she said, "Makes sense, we just know he can teach us how to make good drinks." Still, she knew she could make a fuzzy navel or screwdriver if worst came to worse. "Though I think here is the place to be tonight, not the club."

George was nervous but he couldn't let that side of himself show because he was a Gryffindor and Gryffindors were brave and reckless and it was silly to feel nervous when going to a party with friends. But, then again, he never had a Grumpy Slytherin tagging along with him to any other party they had.

He knew that if his friends were his true friends they wouldn't care who he was sleeping with but that still didn't squish the fear that they could still react badly. He remembered the way Oliver had reacted. They hadn't spoken for roughly a week after the fight that had ensued when Oliver found out. George didn't really want to experience that horrible feeling again but a tiny part of his mind thought he just might have to.

Arriving at Oliver's, fashionably late, with the pups in toe, George paused before making his way over to the front door. He still held the older Slytherin's hand from when the side-along apparated. "Last chance to back out now, Grumpy." George's voice sounded calm, a complete contract to the buzzing he felt inside.

Impulsive. He had to be impulsive. More like Forge.

He leaned up and gave the Chaser a quick kiss, hoping to encourage the Slytherin, and then moved over to the door, where Nessie and Caff sat patiently waiting for George to come and open it for them. Well, okay, maybe not patiently, Caff was trying to headbutt the door open - that mutt was so like him sometimes - while Nessie seemed to think he could climb the door and was currently staring at the door handle as if he had mind powers to open it.

George chuckled a little at his pups antics. "Okay, okay, you wanna see your friends." George spoke to the pups as if they could understand him, which they could. You ask him, he'll tell you. He put a hand on the door handle, knowing Oliver wouldn't mind if he just let himself in, then shot a small grin at Marcus before pushing it open.

This was going to be one interesting party. One he was sure many would never forget. (Well, depending on how sober they were by the end, of course).

He really didn't know why he was doing this. Well he did. But he couldn't for the life of him understand it. Effectively he was going to a party where most of the attendees were Gryffindors or rival players, and he was going with a man. A man he was sleeping with. He had told George that he trusted him, which he did, but he couldn't help but wonder if the red head's faith in his friends was as well founded.

Glancing up at the house before him, Wood's house, Marcus frowned a little, chewing on the inside of his lip. His fingers curled a little tighter around Twink's at the question and he shook his head. 'Not backing out.' Returning the kiss, he followed where he was lead, Mac trotting alongside him. The big puppy wasn't quite as bold as Guinness and Caffrey and he sat by Marcus' feet, waiting to be let inside the house.

Seeing the grin, Marcus couldn't return it, instead he nodded to show he was okay with George opening the door. Still, he kept hold of the beater's hand, just in case they were yelled at from the start. He could still remember the shouting match Oliver and George had had when the Scot found he and Twink kissing in the shadows. Two fluffy pups bounded over to greet them and soon all five dogs were playing, making it a little difficult not to smile.

Oliver had been outside checking the bonfire when the pups who had been playing nearby barked and ran towards the house. Realising that meant someone must have arrived Oliver stood from his crouched position and made his way inside.

Coming into the entranceway, a couple of minutes after the pups Oliver grinned spotting five dogs playing together and make quite a bit of noise. Just from the dogs who had arrived Oliver knew who had arrived.

"Hey," he wandered over, making sure to step over the pile of fluff that were their dogs. "Glad you could make it," Oliver would have been surprised about the pair that were stood in front of him, but after catching them snogging in a dark corridor he expected it. When he had found them, Oliver had caused a nasty fight which left him and George not talking, but now Oliver realised his friend deserved to be happy. If it was Flint that made George happy then so be it.

"Alcohol is in the kitchen and when the fireworks go off I've set up a pen outside for the dogs which is soundproof and stops any sparks from getting too close," Oliver tried to remember everything he needed to say.

George smiled into the kiss, pleased with Marcus' answer. He didn't want to push the Slytherin but George was kind of sick of hiding. It wasn't really in his nature to hide but he guessed he could understand why Marcus thought he had to.

He gave the fingers holding his own a little squeeze of reassurance as he opened the door, watching the pups practically bounce over to greet Dram and Bailey. Mac seemed to be a bit more polite compared to Nessie and Caff and was gentle in introducing himself to Oliver's smaller puppies.

"That one's Dram," George leant closer to Marcus, pointing out one of Oliver's pups, his voice soft so only Marcus could hear him. "The other one is Bailey." He smirked back at the Chaser. "Yup, we Gryffs love our alcohol."

When Oliver came to the door to greet them, George turned his attention to the Scot. The older Gryffindor did seem genuinely glad they could make it. "You know I never miss a chance to light things on fire, Ollysocks." George replied, a cheeky undertone to his voice. And yes, George just called Oliver 'socks'. There was a purpose behind that - socks were generally regarded as one of the most unsexy items of clothing, which made sense because Oliver wasn't sexy in the slightest... to him, anyway.

"Hear that, Grumpy, our friend Jack is in the kitchen." He didn't care if Oliver got confused over who or what Jack was. Grumpy would know - at least, George figured Marcus would know. "Shall we go greet him before we face the rest of them?"

As George pointed out the name of each puppy, Marcus nodded, storing the information away. He was usually good with names, so hopefully he'd remember those easily enough. Smiling a little at the alcohol comment, Marcus looked up as Oliver approached. The greeting sounded absolutely genuine and he was relieved, glad that things were right between the two Gryffindors again.

'You've thought of everything.' Marcus commented when Oliver mentioned the pen for the dogs. His free hand found Mac instinctively, the pup nosing his fingers lightly between bouts of play with the others. The Great Dane wasn't keen on fireworks, not liking the loud noises. But with four other puppies around and a soundproofed pen, he would be okay.

Looking back to George, he nodded, green eyes amused, 'yeah, let's go and say hello to Jack first.'

Hearing his latest nickname, Oliver raised an eyebrow. "OllySocks?" Oliver knew George came up with some weird nicknames, but that was one of the weirdest in a while. "But when ever you would like to light the fireworks is fine by me. Oz is setting up to play afterwards." Oliver grinned, he was glad his friend had agreed to play at the party, it would make it a little different.

"Your friend Jack is in the kitchen, I made sure to get a large bottle after how fast you drank the smaller one at the last party George," Oliver hand't held a party for a while, considering the last one began after a poker game he had held. "I tried, Bailey and Dram don't tend to like loud noises, unlike Caffrey and Nessie, so I figured if I was going to throw a firework party I would need to put them somewhere safe," Oliver shrugged, his dogs were part of his family and he had a feeling the others thought of their dogs exactly the same way, even Flint from the way he had reached to check on his pup.

George laughed at Oliver's raised eyebrow, amused with the Keeper's confusion. "Socks are unsexy, Oliver. Honestly, thought you'd get that one." Yup, George was in a good mood now. Anyone could tell because he had started one of his favourite hobbies of pressing his former Captain's buttons. But it was all good fun and Oliver knew that. Well, at least George thought he knew that.

"Wicked." He grinned at hearing that Oz and his band were playing. "Probably set 'em off as soon as Fred gets here then. He shouldn't be long. Just closing shop." George didn't let on that Fred was working on a last surprise firework.

"I was thirsty." His voice sounded innocent at the mention of how fast he drank the bottle of Jack last time. Although the smug grin said he was quite proud of himself in doing so. His grin changed a little to a small genuine smile - similar to one he gave his Forge but not quite - as the two professional players talked civilly to one another about the pups. It was so much nicer to witness than them all fighting.

Hearing Marcus' answer, George gave a little tug on the other man's hand in the direction of the kitchen. "Come on then, Grumps. Let's leave Ollysocks to greet more of his guests."

Cho had been so glad to get the invitation from Wood. She needed a night with teammates to blow off some steam and get the itch out of her system - it had been too long since the rush of a game and flying by herself just wasn't the same. Plus, without the season in her father was on her case to spend every possibly moment with him and her mum and she couldn't take that stress.

Apparating close to Olli's house, she checked in her bag for the bottle of cheap Muggle wine she'd brought and made her way to the door. Cho smiled to herself at the noises of the party coming from the back and knocked.

Oz was setting up with the band, they'd been asked to play tonight at the party, after the fireworks. Oliver was a friend so Oz had agreed easily. Most of the kit was in place and he was just tuning his guitar when he heard the door. Looking round, he noticed he was the closest and ambled over, guitar still in hand, to open it.

'Hey.' He stepped aside to let Cho past and let the door swing shut behind her. 'I think Oliver is... around.' He nodded vaguely in the direction of the garden, a tiny wry smile on his lips. 'Drinks are in the kitchen, band is in the living room, bonfire is out the back.'

Fred had arrived later than he'd anticipated. Working on the last surprise firework had taken more time that he'd originally given himself. He'd drawn the short straw and had to close up the shop that night, so Olly wasn't expecting him to be right on time, but Fred usually liked to attempt punctuality. Even if he was rubbish at it.

Apparating directly into the Scot's home, he'd sought out his host and got himself a drink before heading out to the garden to set up the fireworks. By the sounds of things his Twin had already arrived, along with the puppies, as he could hear exited barks from somewhere in the garden. He wondered briefly how things had gone when George had shown up with Marcus in tow. But the fact that he was still there must have meant it was okay. Unless he'd gone and left the puppies behind?

Satisfied that everything was ready, he stood and wandered back towards the crowd. whistling to the dogs, he watched them all scamper over and made sure they were safe in the warded pen before turning to his audience. 'Alright Ladies and Gents, time for Fireworks.' A flick of his wand sent the first rocket up into the air it exploded, taking on the shape of a dragon that swooped down towards the crowd before bursting into red and gold sparkles.

George was having a lovely chat with Tig, who didn't seem to mind the the ex-Slytherin he had in tow, near where her cousins band were putting the final tuning on their instruments. In fact after saying, "Hi, I'm Tiger-Lily, nice to meet you. You're really tall, you know that?" the little blonde Hufflepuff didn't seem to be bothered by Marcus at all. That was one thing George liked about Tig, she was very accepting of others, no questions asked.

He could tell there were others that didn't seem to know what to make of him and his 'date' but no one had started any fights or shouting matches. Maybe because they all saw how accepting Oliver had been that they were too afraid to upset the host if they said something. Well, whatever. The fact no one had bothered him yet allowed George to simply have a good time.

Suddenly, George's attention went to the back door. That unexplainable ability to just sense his Twin's presence kicking in. A little smirk appeared and George looked to his 'date' for the night. "Fred's here. Fireworks will start soon. I'm going to help him. What do you want to do?"

George hadn't left the Chaser's side since arriving but he really wanted to help his Twin with the fireworks. He wouldn't leave Marcus on his own though, if he didn't feel comfortable with George going off to play with fireworks then he would stay with the Slytherin.

Walking out to the back garden, George grinned at seeing his Twin. Fred was in his element entertaining others. His eyes followed the path of the rocket, lighting up a little at the resulting explosion. The crowd let out a collective gasp at the sight of the dragon and a cheer as it burst into sparkles.

While the crowd's attention was diverted, George flicked his wand toward a group of trees lining the edge of Oliver's property, setting off a chain reaction of little fireworks that burst into small rainbow birds which performed aerial feats on par with a professional flyers.

He sensed George coming before he saw him and turned to grin at his Twin as he stood at his side. His eyes shifted to Gred's left and he gave Flint a smile too. Another player had spotted the Chaser and after a moment's pause, Marcus stepped away to chat, wandering over to the puppies' enclosure in the process.

Fred laughed as the audience cheered his dragon, basking in the attention he and his Twin were receiving. As the rainbow birds swirled above them, Forge leaned closer to his Gred. 'Everything alright so far?' He meant with Marcus and the guests, curious as to how their friends were reacting to the couple. Looking round, he had to admit that he hadn't expected half the league to be there. Then again, Olly was one of the more friendly players, it made sense that lots of people would show.

Just as the birds started to fade Fred set off another salvo of rockets made up of Wildfire Whiz-Bangs. Only these were modified not to last quite as long. still the Catherine wheels spiraling round outside the house should draw out any guests that remained inside.

George watched Grumpy go with the other player with a smile and then turned his attention back to his Twin. He could tell by Marcus' stance the other man wasn't comfortable in social situations but he seemed more at ease talking to fellow players than some of the others.

"You see any broken noses?" Gred shot a question back to Forge, knowing his Twin would catch on to the full meaning behind it. George had broken Oliver's nose when they fought over him seeing Marcus - annoyed by the comments Oliver had the hide to say. Because there were no broken noses present, it was safe to say no one seemed to disapprove of George's 'date'. At least, they hadn't disapproved to George's face.

As a few more guests ventured outside, George looked at his Twin with a raised eyebrow - silently asking if it was time for the last minute surprise Fred had been preparing before arriving. He didn't know the full details of the surprise, leaving that up to Fred but did his part in creating the firework. Fred had always been better at mixing the ingredients together to get the firework just perfect though.

Fred didn’t miss the smile that George had on his face when he watched his Falcon leave. If he didn’t know better, he’d say his kid brother had it bad for the Chaser. But neither Twin was the relationship sort, so he wouldn’t dream of voicing his thought to Gred; even if it was completely accurate.

‘Not that I noticed.’ Fred smirked slightly at the words. Oliver had behaved like a prat when he’d caught George and Flint. Mostly Forge had agreed completely with Gred’s reaction, though there was a part of him that had been a little annoyed. He liked Oliver’s nose as it was and the thought of the Keeper being in pain wasn’t a pleasant one. He shook his head slightly, not wanting to dissect that confusing feeling just yet.

The raised brow was met with a tiny nod. It was definitely time for the big finale. The Wildfire display finally drawing to a close. Aiming his wand at the final, trunk shaped firework, he set it off. Watching as avidly as the crowd when the box opened with a bang and 14 jets of light flew out. Each light exploded with a crack, taking on the form of a Quidditch player, larger than life and split into red and green teams. Firework Bludgers shot out of the casket, trailing silver sparks in their wake followed by a burning orange Quaffle and a bright Snitch. In a matter of moments, a match started and the crowd applauded as they watched the light-players’ aerial feats.

George just smiled in reply to the smirk, leaning in close to his Twin so their shoulders bumped - silently sending the message that everything was fine. It was really quite handy having a Twin that seemed to be able to read every gesture and every thought you had. Saved a lot of time not having to give long winded explanations when all he had to do was send Forge a look.

"Yay!" He cheered a little, his smile broadened to a cheeky grin when Forge nodded. Still leaning close to his Twin, he watched the firework split into teams and start playing a game. "And Gryffindor Chaser Alicia Spinnet has the Quaffle." George mimicked their good friend, Lee Jordan with dead on accuracy. Gred had always been very good at impersonations and manipulating his voice to sound like a number of their friends.

"Ten points to Gryffindor!" The crowd gathered cheered as one of the red Chasers scored. "Now the Slytherins are on the attack. He has dodged one Bludger but... oh! Denied by the second Bludger hit by the other Gryffindor Beater, Fred... or is it George? Ah, who knows? One of the two."

As Gred's shoulder bumped into his, Forge gave his Twin a little smile. Specifically, George's little smile, the one he reserved for his Twin only. He wasn't as open with his emotions as his little brother, but he really was happy that George had found someone who made him happy. Even if he was a Slytherin that didn't talk much. The fact that the older wizard had come along to the party suggested that Flint was happy with George too.

Fred's smile grew into a grin as George cheered the setting off of the last firework. The charms on this particular one were pretty intricate, so much so that it almost seemed a shame that they would just explode into nothing at the end. When Gred started to imitate Lee, Forge couldn't help but laugh, hearing Alicia whoop as her name was mentioned.

Picking up where George left off, he continued, mimicking Lee not quite as well as his Twin. 'Johnson has the Quaffle now. What an amazing player that girl is, gorgeous too and yet still cold enough to break my heart at least once a week.' Switching voices he imitated McGonagall, 'Jordan. Keep the commentary relevant.'

When Alicia whooped, George looked over his shoulder away from the fireworks for a second and shot the blonde a grin before turning back to the fireworks and continuing his Lee-like commentary. Of course, his accent may have been perfected over the years. But no one could commentate a match like the real Lee Jordan.

He listened to his Twin continue where he left off, chuckling a bit at the inclusion of McGonagall. Both Twins had heard her chastise them enough times to get her impression highly accurate.

"Sorry Professor. AND Johnson scores!" George continued in the Lee accent, grin still plastered on his face. "The Slytherins have to play catch up now and Pucey passes quickly to Montague. And now, Flint has the Quaffle. There is a fierce rivalry between the two Captains. Wood goes for the save and..."

George paused and let out a little bark of a laugh, looking over his shoulder to Oliver and switching back to his own voice. "Bad luck, Wood!" He stuck out his pierced tongue cheekily, loving to stir the Scot.
