What's up with this Tinkerbell movie I see commercials for?

Why is she being portrayed as sweet and nice? Or at least that's how it looks like she's being portrayed. Last I checked in Peter Pan she was a total bitch.

Stop lying to the children.

She's apparently sweet in that show that has all the other fairy friends in it or whatever. They even created ANOTHER fairy to be the bitch to make Tink look good?
