Maman has mentioned your return home after an eventful few days. Do tell me, are the newly weds at each other as much as I assumed they'd be? -- and, more importantly, how scarred are you with hearing them?

Ruined. Ruined, Alphard. I hate that house, because now, when I walk into the kitchen, I don't see a counter with food, I see a counter with Walburga and Orion enveloped in each other's arms and legs and UGH, I hate you for making me relive it.

I just hope Druella and I don't look like... that.

The counter, the chaise longue in the reception room, by (and, I'm sure, in) the fountain, by my door, indoors, outdoors... There was a day I did not see them at all, but the thought of them progressing far beyond the heavy petting I was witness to brought me little comfort.

In my study? Hah.

A typical fit? Please, remind me, why is it that I was sent? You are Father's heir, after all, big brother.

I didn't mean to. It just became necessary to keep a running of list of sullied locations -- obviously I wasn't going to eat at the same table they... well. But I'm not a savage like Orion, Alphard; I will not be ma havi f subjecting my wife to such indignities!

Just another opportunity to one-up you, I suppose.

If that is what you call one-upping me then by all means, have at it dear brother! I'd rather you suffer their indignities than subject myself to such matters. Can you imagine? I might never look at the woman figure the same again if I had -- that is a tragedy.
