Well, so much for THAT idea.
I meant well, but there was no way I was gonna take the bus down when I saw how damp and grey it was. I did make it to the corner store, though, so at least I was able to get a stamp to send out the bill I needed to mail. The person who mooched a book from me knows I'm getting over surgery, so he understands it'll be delayed a bit.

And I was responsible and made the follow-up appointment with Dr. Rios. So it's only 9 am and I've already been grown-up today.
