It never ceases to amaze me how disgustingly warm the weather can get. It almost makes me reconsider not being a beach person. Sometimes. I think staying indoors as long as possible with the AC on is a plan for the next while. And cold drinks.

Iced coffee is a go. The cafe serves it, don't they? It's been a while since I've been bringing in my own drinks just to be safe, but I think it's pretty safe at this point to assume last month's incident won't be happening again.


Being around all these people, it only ever reminds of how very little I actually get out and do something. Alone or with others. Maybe there's nothing weird about that, but around people like we have at FGI, it puts me a little too far out of place from what I'd like to be. But we all know how well I make new friends.

What I'm trying to say is, I guess...

Does anyone want to go for coffee sometime?

...More often than I'd like him to be, sometimes. But if you've ever had siblings you probably know why I won't leave him.

Out of the loop is putting it lightly.

We're Mikoto and Fugaku's sons. Your nephews. I assume you at least knew of your relation to my brother.

Although it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Madara is keeping things from you, too.

I never knew about the two of you until now. I didn't even believe Madara when he first told me.

I still haven't been able to make contact with okaasan and otousan.

Well, with the last place I heard Fugaku lived... Maybe they've moved since. Itachi didn't want us looking for them, but if you want to find them, we can try.

...The best way I can put it is that we found him by hiring some immigrant housekeepers. He's pretty close-lipped about things before that besides the fact that your parents didn't come with him.

...I try not to push too hard. If he doesn't want to talk about things, I won't be the one to make him.
