Her Daddy Gave Her Magic; I Can Tell By the Way She Walks.
Mom's latest line was coming out soon, using some of Nevell's latest highly-specialized fabrics, and Vernique helping out talking to the techs and models for fashion week.

One of the models... now that girl was downright preternatural. Something in her catwalk strut was extra predatory. Beautiful girl, though.

"Not at all. The less said about that part of my life the better. It's not an easy thing to live with and that's why I use Jazz and alcohol to forget about it."

The night New York air was cold, but Greg didn't notice it much. The cold never bothered him much. The heat was a different story.

"I can't begin to imagine what you deal with on a daily basis living with gods, let alone being married to one. Even you need a break from it once in awhile."

	Greg looked at the pictures while they followed the doorman. "Adorable is a gross understatement," he said when he was done looking at the pictures. They had reached a small table near the stage. "You always have a best friend right next to you and since we're identical, it was always like looking in a mirror." A pause. "What always bugged me about being a twin is that people would assume that we were both into the same things. Wes liked sports and played baseball and football. Did some track as well. Me, it was music. I love music and learned to play a few instruments. I would have my dad take me to jazz clubs."
