1) Lucas and Rachel continued to remain friends and X-Men for a great number of years.
2) It was Lucas's counseling that helped Rachel come to terms with what they had to do, during that time everyone had powers and reality was coming unraveled.
3) Rachel, along with several other X-Men, with Moira and Danielle at the forefront, would once travel to Asgard and battle the gods themselves, to rescue Lucas and prevent him from being used in some mad scheme to unlock secrets once sealed away.
4) When Scott Summers is assassinated, it is Lucas who helps Rachel have a chance to say good-bye.
5) It was not the first time Lucas talked Rachel out of being a star-consuming Phoenix... and it would not be the last either.
Jordan/Marrina first date
1) Was only a "date" in the loosest of terms of the word. Some royal function or other had come up (Atlantis hosting some various nobles from other countries), Marrina required an escort, and Mason was laid up with a broken leg. Fortunately, Jordan volunteered to fill his brother's shoes. (though not literally, because elf-shoes didn't fit normal people)
2) In spite of that, Jordan insisted on doing everything like a proper gentleman. A skill he'd more than demonstrated time and time before.
3) Not that she'd ever tell Mason, of course, but Marrina definitely thought Jordan was the better dancer.
4) A snide comment from an Atlantean courtier about the Princess "having traded up" set both their bloods boiling.
5) Not that they told Mason about that.
1) Stranded in some forsaken corner of the multiverse, stripper of her godhood and with it, most of her power, it was the understatement of the century to say that Aslief was not a happy individual.
But she still had some measure of power, and more importantly, still had her mind. Was she not the granddaughter of the lord of lies? Craftiness and cleverness were her stock in trade.
2) To say the young man was arrogant was to say the least. But she has to admit, as she took in the show in her quest to find other magical practitioners, that he was talented. And even more talented in the art of misdirection and manipulation.
3) She accosted him after the show to talk, but likely handled it badly. His own arrogance brought her own back to the surface. Her powers were more diminished than she had thought. Humbled at her loss, she told her story.
4) Though unable to help return her to her proper place, she discovered a friend. She may well have had feelings for him over time, but respected what boundaries were in place.
5) Though Asleif was unable to return to her proper universe, she held her friendship dearly. Mostly mortal, she worried about what her absence meant for the cosmos... A worry even her friend's assurances never dispelled.
