my guy's credits probably look random as all hell, but he just wants to play as many different types of characters and try as many genres as possible. i hope it doesn't look wtfish.

put your foot down and tell your roommate that you will not allow her to bring the kids over. if she was a dog walker you wouldn't let her bring the dogs, if she was a pr consultant you wouldn't let her hold meetings in your living room. this is no different.

i know someone who was setting up a guy with such great credits. or maybe they're still setting up idk, but the credits were all mostly supporting or small roles in a bunch of random shit so he would have been one of those actors you're sure you've seen before but you still don't know his name. i'd love to get more actors like that.

the thing is most actor/musicians make their band or films small side projects and take out time for both. one year they might play shows, the next they'll work on a film. you can't do everything at once, which is what a lot of people try to do. their bands are small things nobody has ever heard of outside of their fanbase. look at things like jason schwartzman/coconut records and jena malone's band.

or it's like jackson rathbone with his band. he's neither a huge actor nor a huge musician, and tbh at this point that's how jared leto operates. it's also how taylor momsen does things (her role on gg is virtually nonexistent now and her band is mostly ignored/ridiculed) and zooey deschanel (she doesn't act nearly as much anymore since her music career started).

i follow/stan for a bunch of obscure bands and even those guys tour an insane amount. like the one i think he said he toured 220 days one year, so i can't imagine that plus a tv or film career.

yes! i stan for a really obscure folk rock act and he actually tours more than someone like taylor swift/easton does because he needs the revenue to keep himself afloat and to get his name out there.

sometimes i get crazy paranoid about my guy's credits being too much, but then i realize, a lot of them aren't major things he is consistently working on, but rather shit his name is attached to. or i hope it comes off that way

i don't think it's productive to cover up our issues with ~click. i love the game, don't get me wrong, but if i pretend like there's nothing that i dislike about it, i'm doing the whole community a disservice. YES there are getting to be too many unrealistic credits, and i see nothing wrong with saying that. maybe by saying it, the mod will take the hint and screen more carefully.
