ah.. well. yeah. this is a long story, you prepared for it anon? ruby and jasper first started hooking up while filming like crazy because the way that film was shot just lent itself to a sort of obsessive relationship. it carried back into london, where they tried a relationship -- and failed, mostly because playing characters had got them together and trying to translate to the real world; it fell flat. so they remained roommates, she stayed in love~ with him, and all was well. they still hooked up, even though he got with loads of other girls (he is the rudest man alive, ginger hicox), stayed roommates, were bezzies, etc. with gaetan, she could have had something healthy, whole, adult and that scared her, a lot, so she kept going back to jasper who was only too happy to cling to her attentions and affections. i don't know how long it actually took for her to start cheating with jasper, but in a way she never felt it was cheating because it was jasper and he is as natural to her as oxygen. he's like an extension of her. either way, she realised how bad it was, told gaetan, who wanted to try and work it out, and then she went to the netherlands with jasper to try and patch their friendship. jasper had an emotional breakdown, she chose him. she's basically the biggest cunt of all time and what she did to gaetan is awful. they're working on being friends, though. i don't personally think she deserves it. she is remarkably, thoroughly in love with the ginger, though and g'll be fine. he's going to end up with someone way fitter.
