i have half brothers and one full brother and i'm nothing like my half brothers but exactly like my full brother. he's five years younger than me and playing scattergories with him is the most frustrating shit ever.

See, I have one full brother and one half-brother. And it's the half-brother that I'm really close to. I mean, it helps that I consider his dad MY dad since the other one is basically just a sperm donor, but still. It's my half-brother that I 'understand' most and relate with.

that's so interesting! my brother and i have very similar thought processes, the exact same sense of humor, etc. it's nature vs. nurture v. siblings.

Exactly. My older brother doesn't understand it, since he thinks that since we have the same genetics, I should be closer to him than I am my little brother. Except that I spent far more time around my half-brother when we were growing up. Age differences isn't a big deal either (older brother is three years older; younger is seven years behind me).
