sometimes i think people forget the purpose of being in a community. you're in a community to give yourself the opportunity for unexpected storylines or at the very least, a web of interaction all compounding on itself as events happen. in a community others' storylines effect yours just as much as your own, an example of that would be feeling waves from the vessey/curuso debacle. some people are having to pick a side, something they never anticipated. if all you're doing is just interacting with preplanned storylines in private, that is a psl, whether it be with one person or ten, so the point of being in the community is moot. just make a psl.
