she really doesn't agree with how adrienne handled it, since julie is a pretty cool person and would rather talk about things instead of just bitching someone out. but she'd heard a lot about the chester and emma situation recently and agreed on some points. obviously her and emma are not on good terms right now, and she kind of feels like an ass for snapping at her in public, but feels like what's done is done.

did she find it hard to hand the baby over to her brother and sister-in-law, once she delivered? tell me about the lingering after effects, if any.

no, she actually was so scared of it being hard that she tried to distance herself from them a lot until her mom pretty much told her to nut up. there are still a lot of lingering effects, mainly in that there's a lot of confusion of the role that she should play in the little girl's life, because it wasn't like it was for her brother and his wife, and she has a mom, so she doesn't really need julie to fill that role. it's her brother and his partner, so they're just two dudes and a little lady, and julie's mom kind of pressures her to fill the maternal figure role, though it makes julie want to panic a little bit, because she doesn't feel like she could be a role model for anything. she actually has a lot that she wants to talk about concerning it, but she's so guarded about that sort of thing, and no one ever asks her about it directly, so it's remained undiscussed thus far.
