	he wants to be settled. they're moving for the first time in four years and it's across the ocean to paris, and li just wants it to be done with already instead of stuck in the constant state of limbo. (Reply to this)(Parent)

that's a tricky subject for li. a lot of times he doesn't even see or think of himself as asian; his mom didn't do much by way of raising them in any culture or traditions, instead choosing to pretty much westernize the family and go along with how their dad saw fit. she does speak chinese but li couldn't really tell you much of any of it. he hates to be reminded that visually he is different than most people he knows, even when satchel teases him about it, it still gets under his skin enough to wound him a little. he accepts that he can't change who he is and i don't think he really would even if someone gave him the chance.
