lmao these awards are ridiculous. there's no reason why we need to validate popular writers ooc. they should be ic.

i was thinking more like things like the html one for ones that seem ooc. the hottest people one seem like they could go either way.

yea for that one am i supposed to look at everyones journals and look at their layouts and crap? how is that character validation at all when it's obviously something the writer does.

anon these weren't meant to validate the popular people. the reason we tried to come up with so many categories and put the no more than four votes rule in place is so that everyone would have a chance at getting something. i'm sorry if it isn't enough or bothers you but we did the best we could.

i don't understand the need for them to be out of character awards. they could easily be in character, which would make a lot more sense to me. first of all, the character i might find hot could be completely different from who my character finds hot. i'm not in this community to play myself, i'm here to play a character and this is just adding to a blurred line of ic/ooc. i don't mean to bitch at you, but i just find this whole thing really ridiculous.

personally, i don't think there needs to be awards. it makes this community seem cliquey and like we're favoring certain people over another. but having ooc awards seems like crossing a line to me.
