i do understand the ooc thing, but i look at it more as a positive opportunity than i do a negative factor. i feel like doing it ooc gives us the chance to dig around and look at characters we might normally overlook in our search to find fitting nominees for the categories. i know not everyone is going to have the same opinion/viewpoint as me but it just doesn't make sense to me to sit around being negative about something that's going to happen whether you hate it or not. this probably makes me sound like a bitch, but hey.

agreeeed. absolutely agreed. and i feel like if you do this and i do this and all of those people who were worried that only "popular" writers would be recognized also do this, then we'll have a pretty balanced pool of nominees.
