Okay, I just want to first say that I think the rampant disrespect that has frankly always been a problem with this community and often directed at people and characters I absolutely treasure, not to mention writers who have made incredible efforts to make this place enjoyable is totally beyond the pale. ~lico, ~lefors/chloelefors, ~daniels, ~tracey: I support you. I am with you. You didn't deserve any of the shit you were dealt and you have always handled yourselves with maturity and positivity in spite of it. I love you guys.

Secondly, I'm just going to outmyself as

clickanon. I did not make this journal. I saw that it had been abandoned by its creator with an address to email if you wanted to take it over. I decided to do it because I was afraid that if it remained up for grabs, it might get taken over by someone who would let it be overrun with negativity. This has been the only reason I haven't shut it down, since it quickly became a full time job to try to police all the ugliness that happens in here, and between the two of us monitoring it almost 24/7 we still couldn't keep people from being senselessly hateful. For six months, I have been horrified by the behind the scenes mean spiritedness of the people I have so much fun writing with in this game, but me and one other tireless individual I won't out (and who frankly does most of the work in here these days) have always kept it open so that there will still be good hearted people moderating anons. We have always been afraid if we closed this journal, another one would pop up in its place, and it would be one we couldn't control. Trust us, we don't like it in here any more than you do.

I feel like I already said everything I had to say in my sermon a few weeks ago, so I'll just leave it at this: some of you have enriched my life so much and brought me so much joy with your characters and your sweet friendship, and a lot of you are really terrible humans, and I hope to god there's no overlap between those groups. I am so angry and disappointed in what's happened in here tonight that I am ill.

	The fact that it gets as bad as it did tonight with two people policing it I think speaks volumes of what would happen if it were a free for all. If people want it shut down, I will happily shut it down, but for one thing I don't think anon is ever getting turned on again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	this place is handled, from a mod standpoint, very well. and i do agree who even knows what would happen if there was an actual anon comm that wasn't policed or taken care of thoughtfully. probably would've resulted in click closing months ago. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

I'm sorry that a place even exists where you would have the opportunity to come in and read something so ignorant and deliberately hurtful. i didn't see the worst of it, apparently, but it's been relayed to me. i'm not ashamed of being bipolar at this point in my life but it's frustrating to me for a myriad of reasons that have nothing to do with rp and everything to do with the circumstances i've been dealt as of late. people are going to talk shit on the internet and i've learned a lot of it comes from sheer ignorance. we all want to just have fun, it sucks that there are people in existence who feel the need to troll out.

I was going to put her with you but I didn't want to make public assumptions/declarations about her involvement. I have told her before how grateful I am for everything she's done in this game, and I mean it now too as Julie and as a person that stepped up to run this game at the expense of her own enjoyment. Both of you have been such a total joy to know ic and ooc (however much I know), and I notice, acknowledge, and respect the efforts you have both made from the beginning, IC, OOC, and in here. <3

i think you're totally right in thinking another journal would pop up if this one were to close. whether or not people would use it is debatable, but i think you and the other mod do a really good job of taking care of this one considering all the bullshit that goes down in it. i don't want to feel like it would be wishful thinking for people to quit being jerks in here, but i just really hope nothing terrible gets said or done again, for our sake as players and for your sanity as a mod.

	Honestly, the amount of unforgivable hatefulness that's been directed at people in here has far eclipsed any struggle I might have had clicking little red x's before things got out of hand. 	i think it's really admirable that you've modded this place, seriously. because just as you say, if you were to abandon it, another would pop up that would have a mod who didn't care so much about what ultimately happens to this game. modding this is every bit as thankless as modding ~click, and in a lot of ways it's more depressing. so thank you, i love you a lot. all i could think last night when i was reading back over this bullshit was what a pain in the ass it must be to run this place. you and your co-mod are brilliant, patient, and just all-around wonderful. there are not enough good adjectives. thank you for all the work you've put into not letting someone (multiple someones? it sickens me to think this could be more than one person, but i guess it's possible,) tear us apart. thank you for everything you've done comm-wise, but also, the way you've reached out to me lately regarding my bullshit health problems/personal life and ridiculous frustrations with auden have encouraged me so much, and i cannot thank you enough for it. i really was ready to drop her, and that aim convo we had made me feel so much better. i adore elle, i'm excited for she and auden to interact more and see where it leads, i think you are a phenomenal writer and all-around amazing person. love love love.
