"Are you sure you're dad's not going to kill me?"

Amissa tilted her chin up to cast a glare at Liam, and shook her head. "No, or else he'll have many more issues to deal with than me dating a Gryffindor."

"I was thinking he'd have more issues with my dad being a werewolf..." Liam muttered, letting Amissa pull him along the pathway of the Aubreys' gardens. They'd escaped the party before her father had come down to introduce himself, and while Liam was grateful for this, he was slightly concerned with why Amissa had tugged him out here. She'd been very excited to introduce the two, so why was she avoiding her father now? Did she think it wasn't going to go well?

"Missy--" he started, but she had just tugged him behind a big bushel of roses and pulled him down for a near teeth shattering kiss. Liam didn't mind this, of course, and immediately wrapped his arms around Amissa, bending his knees a bit to get more on level with the petite girl. People laughed in the corridors at how much taller he was than her, but Liam liked to think they just had to work a little better to fit together.

They broke apart and he took in a deep breath, "That was nice."

"I wanted to give you a proper snog before my father scares the daylights out of you with the stories of my conception. Something about 'Super Sperm.'"

Liam blanched, and greatly desired to stay behind the rose bushes.
