hah! I finally got lastfm to pick up my music. You would think that I could use MarketPlace since I have a zune, but nooooooooo. That'd be WAY to easy. Instead I have to use window's shity media player. Oh well, i don't care anymore, because right now i'm listening to strawberry swing and i am very, very happy. :)

I'm dead tired from work. Tonight was crazy, it was like one huge fucking rush after another and I had to do lobby. I feel like an old man, my back hurts, my arms hurt, i'm a mess. But here's the kicker...

I only worked four hours today.

how? how in the fucking hell am I so dead tired after only working for four hours. It's not like I'm doing hard labor, or doing anything that takes any kind of particular skill or talent. I just don't understand. I want more hours. I need more hours. How is this all going to work out? How? How?  A ring? A wedding? College? I know megan doesn't like it when I get so worked up about this. But I have to. I need to. WE need to. I just want everything to work out. It has to. I want to give her the world and I want to do everything I can to get it for her. I just want to make sure we don't have to compromise on these things, and if that means more time working and being dead tired, well bring it on. I'm ready. I know I am.

Maybe talk to the manager about getting more hours in, let her know you are dedicated to working hard for a bigger pay check.

& the four hour thing, of course it'll make you tired!! Work is work! Even if you aren't doing labor work, your mind is still in the "work mode" which will tire you out a lot quicker than just a "relaxation mode". I'm sure you already know this..

Anyways, wanting to give Megan the world.. YOU are her world. Don't freak out so much, things will come in time. Just put your effort into it now, but don't let it get your panties in a bundle... 'cuz even if you don't have enough money to spend as you'd like, she's still going to look at you the same.

Yeah I've talked to a couple of the managers and each one just kinda blows it off. I'm tired of working mainly 2 hour and 3 hour shifts. It's stupid, you know? Plus they send me home early ALL the time. Say I'm working 12 to 2. A bullshit shift, but a shift nonetheless. If we have like 10 minutes without a customer they'll send me home, sometimes before 1 o'clock even. I just want them to take me serious. I don't work today but I think I'll talk to the general manager tomorrow, tell him about all this. I want more hours, I need more hours.

I see what you're saying about the work is work thing. I just wish the people I worked with would lighten up sometimes. I guess that's what really makes me tired, not being able to joke around with anyone and just keeping to myself while I'm there. Everyone seems like they're pissed off while they're there. :( Maybe I should make them cookies or something...

I do get too worked up about money and I know I shouldn't but at the same time, I have to. If I don't, who will? I don't want a mansion, I don't even want a nice car. I just want to be able to provide for her and our one day family. I guess I just have to find a median. Not worrying too much, but worrying enough. Trying to find a balance.

I hope talking to the general manager will get you somewhere!!

Haha, the cookie thing would be totally uplifting... too bad no one trusts anyone enough with home made stuff anymore. =[ Did you ever bring like home made shit to elementary class? and the kids would eat them and be happy? Now you can only buy things and bring it in. How lame.

Money is one thing that people will always have to worry about, sadly enough it's such a huge demand it usually has a bad impact on people [being greedy, being stressed out]. It's hard to find a good balance, but KEEP THE FAITH.
