	I don't think he needs a 'sanctuary,' so to say. Part of his (...single...) plus side = fast reaction speed. That doesn't necessarily mean a 100% adaptability, or not getting affected by everything going on around him, but it significantly shortens the amount of time he spends in emotional transit.
