It's been a couple of weeks. Tess has been impressed by how quickly Steven's adjusted. Still, idle hands...

Tess's came through the communication system to Steven. "Flash? Gym, please. Now."

	Steven studies the menu a few moments, adding a request for an additional glass of water, and the iced tea to go with the Coke - got to try all these wonderful options of things with flavor. "I think, no matter how much I studied the game, you would be the superior player. But if I'm going all out to give you a challenge, I can consult books, play a couple dozen games forward from any scenario, and consider all the permutations of a move by the time I need to make a move. Like I said, I love puzzles. I'll never be as good as you are in actual talent... but if I'm allowed to use every resource at my disposal... I think we might go back and forth."

And she should definitely believe he's watching for those between the seconds hints of hesitation, facial tics, looking away - he's familiar with the idea and history of the Terrifics. If he can get her in unfamiliar territory, and thinking on something else, its to his advantage, given his own way of going about deep thinking.

"Yep. You'll need to sweeten the pot too... but long as you keep the forfeits just between us... if you win two out of three games, I'll not only strip, but run obstacle courses of your design - one course per game out of three you win - any course, any length, any challenges, long as its fair and beatable - in the buff. Just so there's no covering up or hiding involved."
