Emergency services and the police had been informed. Tess had made sure there'd be the specialists made available to the hostages would be briefed on what they'd gone through.

Tess had cleaned and treated her skin. Her forearm was bandaged.

...She was still so tense. It wasn't that she couldn't handle the pain -- damn straight it wasn't! -- it was that she still felt so locked down.

"Just like I can lend speed, I can temporarily speed up... lots of things, with enough concentration. Speed healing is one of the more complex, but doable, mainly for limbs and other non-vitals. Essentially, the limb goes through the entire healing process in a few minutes... but because its going through the whole process, just sped up, you'd get all of the pain of the next few weeks compressed into that time... and end up starving and dehydrated because your body is still doing most of the work."

It might surprise a lot of people, but in his case, it comes as no shock to Steven that she'd find relaxation in her willing submission - being able to give over control and responsibility to someone else. He just gently helps guide her along with the one hand, shifting in time with her motions, moving faster when she does. The light use of teeth along with her tongue draws a louder groan, and a habitual quickening of breath.
